Also, has anyone else noticed that the screen is noticeably dimmer at the top than the middle on those setup screens?! I'm trying to figure out if it's normal, or if i've got a faulty backlight!

Is it best to install 9.1 0n my 6 then back up on iCloud or leave back up at 9.0 and just install that on my new phone and then update software??

Well thank you to the w**kers who trolled my tracking link. It looks like DPD haven't managed to prevent further changes is have to wait a week and hope that someone in a random house two streets away will give me my phone. Do you not have wives, mothers or sisters? I saved to buy that handset and waited to pre-order and was one of the first to do so. I made a stupid impulsive mistake because I've never had a tracking text before and didn't stop to consider that it contained a live link and now, you have completely soured the whole experience and wasted my taking a day off work. Scum. Total scum.

Contact Apple. Not DPD. Maybe they can change it back

This proves that the estimated time has zero science and is just worked out by taking the number of drops and allowing x time per drop. They stop working at 20:00 so you'll get it by then I'd expect.

Ugh, it's finally left the DPD depot and Ahmed will be making delivery no. 135 between 1728 and 1828. I absolutely have to leave home at 6pm tonight... going to be a tense day.

Anyone else upgrading from a 5s like me is in for a treat - this is soooooo fast and the screen is super responsive. I had a film on the screen of the 5s - deffo nothing going on this screen!

I am glad I went for the 6s and not the 6s+ this screen is plenty big enough for me!

the more from a 5s to a 6 was too big a jump for me too last year.. don't worry, you'll be ready when 7 is out

I can't get the map either. Have you ordered directly from apple? I think you can only get a map when ordered from ee.

Nor me, and I ordered from Apple. Not at all impressed with DPD, I am under 10 miles from their depot, they usually deliver here around 9.30-10am but are now saying today will be 4.23-5.23pm. Plus no tracking. Despite everybodys' negativity before today about UKMail, they seem to be the best courier on launch day.

iPhones are finally being scanned out of DPD Southall depot - got a time slot of 17:36-18:36 though which is too late, but hoping someone else will be home!

3D Touch seems gimmicky to me - I'm not sure how often I'm going to use the homepage icon shortcuts, it seems quicker to just tap the icon and open the app instead.

Using 3D Touch to launch the app switcher is quite handy, but at the moment I can't quite see it being much use. Nice to have though, I'm sure developers will be able to do some cool things with it!

Thanks for the heads up - had forgotten about that possibility. I had that when I got a phone from Carphone Warehouse. Thankfully I'm with O2 who unlock without issue but need to remember to do it!

I don't think O2 unlock new model iPhones for about 6 months, so do check.

If in doubt, stick a 3 SIM in it and let it lock to that, as 3 will unlock quickly and for free.

Yes I ordered via apple. perhaps no map then.

To get the map if you ordered from apple click the link in the last text message which gives you your delivery window and it should open in your phone I cant get it to work on my laptop.

Got mine now (DPD delivery at 11am)

Never had a phone on launch day before so this is quite exciting Just updating all the apps etc which seems to be taking an age.

Any suggestions on screen protectors yet?
