Ok, a quick question about restoring if I may...?

All seems to be going well, but I've got got a load of my apps that are just sitting there saying "Waiting".

Loads of apps have downloaded/installed, but there's quite a few that just seem to be sitting there...

Try tapping one of them to pause it then see if you can restart it by tapping it again. If that doesn't work, is it possible these are apps no longer sold in the App Store? Unlikely if it's quite a few, but worth asking

Try to get a protector that's 0.20mm and thinner. Not 0.3mm that will reduce the 3D Touch response. Also contact the retailer first asking the thickness as most false advertise.

Apple say 0.3mm is the specification...

I've got the mediadevil crystal protector on my 6S and 3D Touch still works fine.

Tapping does nothing.

The apps are definitely current though (one of them is 1Password).

DPD are brilliant - they rang me for delivery as they remembered the intercom doesn't always work! UK mail doesn't even try to buzz and just puts missed you post in.

You can tell I haven't upgraded my phone since the 4S was released. Trying to use all these new camera settings, live photos, 3d touch etc is a nightmare. Now I know how my nan feels when she tries to use the DVD player. >.<

The apps are definitely current though (one of them is 1Password).

Mine are doing the exact same, about 8 (out of 90 apps) loaded...

When I restored a replacement 6 a while back I had the "restoring from iCloud backup" message on the home screen for ages and then discovered one app was "waiting". I tried tapping on it but nothing happened so I went into the store and the cloud symbol was showing next to it. I re-downloaded and then shortly after the restoring message went away. Try this with the "waiting" apps!

Delivery slot starts in 10min with DPD and I still haven't actually got a text/email and can't view the live map; really hope it actually turns up!

Well... have to go out and be productive before stopping by the office to get the phone. Still no live tracking sent to me for DPD, which is kinda odd as it is due to be delivered between 3 and 4. Oh, well... at least the phone is on its way. That's something, right?

Yeah I never got a text or email from DPD, nor do I have a live map using the tracking number from Apple's order page. All I have is a delivery slot (starting about now for the next hour). I imagine maybe not all DPD vans have the live tracking system or whatever.
