UK iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus Thread

Can't help smiling that one of the first 3rd party apps that updated on my phone to use 3D Touch was a content blocker. Not sure it helps much right now but at least it shows they're trying to figure it out.

Got to CWH and was told the new phone hadn't come in and wasn't expected till the 3rd Oct!

Thankfully the guy rang their support to find out why and they're getting another delivery later so should be able to pick it up round 5 They're going to give me a call once they've got it.

Hmmmm... Not really sure if I like the 3D touch yet, but not really had time to use it much yet as my phone is still restoring! Just doesn't feel natural to use pressing harder to get another menu. Maybe it's something that will grow on me?!

To be honest I lost my confidence in them, I spoke with them twice on the phone and they assured me the depot would get the driver to re-deliver. Apparently he was unable to access my property which is a lie. It seems everyone else with UK Mail is getting their deliveries, so Im a little disappointed to say the least. Ahh well, my new delivery window is any time between now and 8PM, so I guess Ill have to wait to see what happens.
 
Just back from picking my SG 128GB 6S from the Braehead (Glasgow) Apple Store - there was a small queue but I was taken in within about 5mins of arriving. Anyway, when I got home, I opened the box, restored the backup I made this morning from my 128GB iPhone 6, had a quick play with 3D touch, the front facing camera and that's me done.. pretty much the same as I had before, which is what I expected. More impressed with the blue Apple leather case I picked up on impulse - actually feels great on the phone.

Yup, I was supposed to be 2nd on the list. Was rather excited peeking through the window all morning . . . now I'm just patiently waiting hoping they show up :(

does anyone know when you can see how far away the dpd driver is, my online tracker currently only says between 14:59 & 15:59. Normally it says what number delivery i am and what number the driver is on, any ideas?

yeah, I checked my SIM and it's micro SIM. I remember when I was canging over to BT mobile they sent me a normal sized SIM and it had a pop out micro SIM.
 
Anyone considering chasing after their DPD guy, don't bother.

I did just that. They can't scan the item until the delivery slot you're given. Classic computer sez no.

I HELD the iPhone box. I held it but had to hand it back! Arrrrrgh!

Should've ran off.
 
My faith in DPD is on its way to being restored... apparently they've expressed it from their Maidstone depot and I should have it between 3-3:30pm. Not holding my breath but that would be a pleasant surprise!

Think I would have been better off reserving in store. Didn't notice any road blocking queues at any of the Apple stores today. God knows when UPS will arrive. Don't even think they do.
 
Anyone in NI had a delivery yet? Thought my phone had arrived at 11 and it was dhl with new work shoes for my husband :( :(

That's hilarious. It not a little weird. You actually chased down the driver.... how much long do you have to actually wait:

It's not just the waiting, it's ruined my evening plans. The guy was a five minute walk away and I still have four hours to wait.
