On side by side comparison to my 6 the buttons on the 6s don't feel as robust and they don't have the reassuring clicky feel when pressed.

EE and Three share, and O2 and Vodafone share. Will be interesting to see what happens when Three and O2 merge though...
Wow! But I don't think Three SIMs work in EE phones, and vice versa.

My understanding is:
  • EE, T-Mobile, Orange, Virgin interchangeable
  • Tesco, Giffgaff and O2 interchangeable*
  • Vodafone and Talkmobile interchangeable
*though Giffgaff doesn't lock their phones

My UK Mail driver is having the longest lunch break EVAH.... at 11.30 He/She was at the 89th stop (I'm 91) and nearly four hours later there's still no movement. This is painful o_O

The Three/EE deal is an infrastructure share on 3G (the physical masts) so no actual "sharing" as an MVNO does with a network (like the o2 locked phones work on Tesco/Giffgaff).

It's called MBNL if you want to read any further.

And that to this day is still correct. Unless the phone's unlocked.

Possibly, I'm not 100% certain, but it would/could explain the situation above where a Carphone Warehouse phone worked interchangeably across EE and Three. Though, do they only tie the handset to the network if it's a contract sim? Would a sim-only/PAYG still leave phone unlocked?

Did any of the ukmail community sign up for the "you're next text / email". If so did the alert come through for those who have had it delivered?

Thanks

Just got mine :D

Put my Three sim in though and it's not activating?

EDIT:

Ignore that working now. Had my ******** bricks that did!

haven't seen many photos of rose gold yet??

anyone regretting the choice?

Very pleasantly surprised by rose gold! Arrived on time! In inside lights it is bronze and outside it turns pink but not too sickly. Still setting things up but not much time as at work :-(

I'm sorry to ask as it has probably already been stated but I was wondering if anyone could confirm that the T-Mobile version paid in full is unlocked out of the box. I keep getting told different things from Apple and from T Mobile. I use Straight Talk so I need an unlocked phone. T mobile is the only one that doesn't require account information to buy. I was told initially that as long as I don't activate the phone with a T Mobile SIM card I'd be able to pop in my Straight Talk SIM card with no problems. Then another Apple employee (along with T mobile employes) told me that the iPhone 6s would be locked to T Mobile out of the box regardless of whether or not it's been activated. Had anyone bought a T Mobile iPhone 6s and can give me an answer as to whether or not it's unlocked out of the box?
