UK iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus Thread

Mine was delivered to work over lunchtime by DPD, roughly halfway through the slot, in addition to my leather case. I've just got home, installed the beta profile, and I'm now updating to 9.1b2. 22 mins remaining and I can then restore from backup through iTunes...

wow i have had a horrible day with apple dont even have the energy to type it now can someone tell me is it possible for me to change my delivery on UKmail webiste to saturday delivery for £10 extra?
 
The next 40 minutes will see if I get a phone or not. Due to my location we don't get UK mail to the door so god knows if it's in Inverness Depot or if it's in a van on the way. The company that deliver are always in my street from now til about half 6 so we will see.

I'm less confident now than I was earlier. But if either come today it's a bonus so I'm just happy I'm getting to play "stand at the window and wait"
 
So UK mail's depot is 27mins away from me,

I was the 2nd stop on the list. . . .

Yet 6 hours later . . . guess what??

Still no sign of a delivery, just a message that says "Sorry, we appear to be running late"

No S... Just a tad late, if I knew this was going to happen I would have reserved in store.

Just picked mine up from Carphone Warehouse :D It's massive compared to the 5s lol. Restoring backup atm so haven't had a chance to have a play yet. Thankfully the Spigen Neo Hybrid metal 6 Plus case I got before I saw someone say they wouldn't fit went on with no problems :D

yes, although I did not back up just started as new. did this settle after a while?

It doesn't feel much quicker than the 6 doing normal tasks but touch ID is noticeably faster when unlocking. I'm not really a fan of 3D touch - I can quite easily live without that and have barely even used it yet, guess I'm just not used to it and don't feel the need to! doesn't feel natural pressing down so hard on the screen... Hmmmm I don't know, £700 is a lot of money to have back in my bank isn't it for something I'm not terribly overwhelmed with.

I considered this as well, the upgrades on the 6S aren't necessary at all to me, but I'm keeping it because of the longevity and how it'll last through future iOS updates longer than 6.
 
One thing I've learned this week is I don't know how I'd survive without an iPhone! This weeks been hell! New iPhone 6s Plus is notably faster.

True. But if I do return the 6s then I will probably get the iPhone 7 next year. My current 6 is less than 2 months old as an Apple replacement product and it's running great since the latest iOS9 update, I mean battery life is vastly improved I'm getting over 40 hours standby time and close to 6.5-7 hours usage time.

You just sign in with your consignment number and click rearrange my delivery.
Not sure what it costs though.

Today is the last straw for me lol. No more online orders. I never had a morning or afternoon delivery from Apple EVER.

And with UPS I'll have the phone by now. I never knew UKMail were this bad.
 
Finally had my ukmail delivery come through. One hour after the latest time in the slot given to me this morning. I felt sorry for the driver as he looked shattered and said if he went to sleep now he wouldn't wake up tomorrow! Anyway enjoy your phones guys! It's been fun!

All iPhone's that didn't get delivered today (that were meant to) will go out for delivery tomorrow automatically.

I had a nightmare with UK Mail as well. They said I missed delivery when I was in the entire time. I caused a fuss and the driver returned with my phone (he was NOT pleased).

hahaha atleast im not alone!!! my attitude to the driver would be well you were to lazy to deliver so **** ye thats what u deserve
 
Guys stop using the times as a definitive time it should come. The drivers will have so much to deliver today they will literally be working as hard as they can. And also the delivery slots don't take into account traffic etc. And the backend systems will probably be very delayed with the amount it's been processing.

How are you getting the update? All my devices are showing 'can't check for updates'?

Hey UKMail people, don't rely too much on the timeslot and map (I know its easy for ME to say now that mine has arrived. But my day has seen it loaded onto the van at 8:02; NO movement from the driver till it shot to the 10th delivery at about 10:30, then at 11:30 it shot up to delivery 89 with me being 91!! I was very hopeful, but it remained that way for four hours :(
My iPhone *actually* arrived 45 minutes before my 16:47 - 17:47 slot!
Checking the map until about 17:30 it still said he was delivering the 89th delivery...?!
I actually got the "Your Next" text about 25 mins ago?!

My UK Mail one was delivered at 17:50 - package 103 and 10 mins after the start of the one hour slot. Pretty impressed.
 
So... DPD should have delivered between 16:24 - 17:24... only an hour late, but pretty annoyed as it took them 4 hours to even give me a time slot this morning and delivered a parcel to a neighbour at 8:30am! Grrrr!
 
Well my weekend is ruined. It was not my iPhone that arrived instead my family member went out and now I have to wait until Monday.

My rage right now is ridiculous. I could literally hit someone. I am not a violent person but neither do I ask anything of anyone and the first time I do I am let down.

Cant believe UPS have nonSayurday option. It is beyond pathetic in 2015. I would of paid !

Now my phone is laying somewhere and will be damaged or opened or stolen. This is really why I never bother buying anything nice.

Call them, see what they say. I had some trouble with my delivery and calling them got the delivery driver to come to my place again and re-deliver.
