I've just come off the night shift and set an alarm for my delivery slot with DPD. Needless to say, I slept through the alarm and missed delivery. Luckily DPD left it with a neighbour! Excellent stuff!

Wasn't too impressed with O2s packing of the phone, was just wrapped in a plastic bag!

Have you checked the model number to make sure they're uk models

I've got model a1688

Which does seem right

2. A1688: The world phone has almost the same bands as the A1633, except that there is no LTE band 30 (2.3 GHz WCS spectrum deployed by AT&T). This model will also work on both GSM and CDMA carriers. The A1688 is sold at T-Mobile (locked and contract-free), Sprint and Verizon in the US, as well as in Europe and Asia, including countries like the U.K., France, Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong, China and Japan. You will also receive this model when you take advantage of Apple’s new iPhone Upgrade Program.

Ahmed is at 129 and I'm delivery 135. But he's been there for a while. I need to go out at 6. Oh, Ahmed, please don't take a tea break now!

o2 have switched my tariff over. Guess I have to use 'swap my sim' to activate the new one.
No you don't, I think they give you a new sim incase your old one doesn't fit.
The only time Ive swapped my Sim was when the size changed from my previous phone, or when I upgraded to a 4G sim.
No need this time and my tariff has switched over fine.

Is this normal?

It's 17:30, starting to get very worried now! According to this they've only managed 24 stops in 9 hours.

1 more hour and I can finally get my phone. Even though I got a text just over an hour ago that its already at the depot, I better turn up the time I'm expected to arrive to avoid any confusion.

I'm pretty sure the smaller battery couldn't make it lose 20% in 30 minutes though right?
thats a lot, I spoke to apple they said wait a few days and see how the phones go, the battery lasted as long as my 4s which isn't good. Like someone mentioned earlier maybe its doing a lot in the background. let it settle

Nearly 2 hours late UK Mail!!! Wish I'd of had DPD, UK Mail are crap!

It's background processing for spotlight etc. It was the same with my 6 last year after restoring from backup, and after I updated to iOS9 yesterday. You'll find the back panel is warm.

I'm undecided if I'm going to keep the 6s!! Yes it's a lovely phone with some nice upgrades over the 6 and I prefer the gold colour. It doesn't feel much quicker than the 6 doing normal tasks but touch ID is noticeably faster when unlocking. I'm not really a fan of 3D touch - I can quite easily live without that and have barely even used it yet, guess I'm just not used to it and don't feel the need to! doesn't feel natural pressing down so hard on the screen... Hmmmm I don't know, £700 is a lot of money to have back in my bank isn't it for something I'm not terribly overwhelmed with.

Ordered my 128gb silver upgrade from O2 last night at 9:30pm, arrived today an hour ago. Faultless service from O2.

Initial observations of the phone....it's definitely noticeably thicker and heavier! Feels a lot more solid than the 6 though.

Those with battery issues. Chill! Your no doubt playing with your new phone an awful lot right now so the battery is going to take a hitting. Plus, its not yet reached full capacity. This happens after a couple of full charge/discharge cycles. Also the phone needs to calibrate the battery. This happens best when you run it down from full to empty and back up to full.

Don't worry about damaging the phone and all this "never run the battery down" BS. You can't on an iPhone, it will cut off when it actually has around 5-10% power left to protect itself.

Just use your new toy, enjoy it and complain about the battery after a couple of weeks if its still off.

A lot of people probably agree, may as well try it out for a few days first though, right?

Wondering if it makes any difference, either way? Their instructions claim I should swap sim (if I've upgraded).

Same as the 6. You can plug it into a 10W iPad Charger and it still only pulls 1A (or 6W at the plug).

That's incorrect, from the 6 onwards they are capable of accelerated charging.

According to preliminary tests using a Kill-A-Watt device and OS X system information, the charging profile for the iPhone 6 and the 6 Plus match that of the iPad, allowing them to charge using 2.1A. Unlike earlier iPhone models which would only draw 5W regardless of the charger being used, the new phones are capable of drawing up to 12W, allowing them to charge at a faster rate.

Hey UKMail people, don't rely too much on the timeslot and map (I know its easy for ME to say now that mine has arrived. But my day has seen it loaded onto the van at 8:02; NO movement from the driver till it shot to the 10th delivery at about 10:30, then at 11:30 it shot up to delivery 89 with me being 91!! I was very hopeful, but it remained that way for four hours :(
My iPhone *actually* arrived 45 minutes before my 16:47 - 17:47 slot!
Checking the map until about 17:30 it still said he was delivering the 89th delivery...?!
I actually got the "Your Next" text about 25 mins ago?!

Don't rely on the delivery schedule too much. - and Good Luck!
