How did you manage to provide proof of return? When I returned my cases I just left it at the drop off shop and was astounded that they gave no receipt! She just took it off me, but in the end they have arrived safe and sound with Apple in Hinkley.

On the other hand of wearing cases - my brown leather one is darker at the sides, not from my jeans but from general dust! I still got the packaging for it but will they accept the wear? Tried baby wipes but nothing. Can anyone give any info on how returns work?
The guy always gives a handwritten UPS receipt and never had a problem before. I think it says somewhere you should ask for a receipt on the return info. First time for me anything has gone missing.

Just some initial thoughts for anyone on the fence as to whether to upgrade:

I'm moving from a 6, which I really liked. I watched a lot of videos prior to buying a 6S yesterday, and I wasn't really convinced that I would benefit from any of the new features or improvements. I was wrong and the 6S is great.

I'm still getting used to 3D Touch, and it really needs to be added to more apps before it can be considered really useful or essential, but the trackpad feature alone is worth the price of admission. It is so much easier to move the cursor and select text.

I don't like the current implementation of using 3D Touch to open the app switcher, though - it's a bit fiddly and it is quicker for me to use the home button. I've heard that 9.1 might improve things.

The design of the 6S is obviously very similar to the 6, but the extra weight is noticeable. It's a small increase and its not really a problem but I preferred the feel of the 6. It's probably just something I need to get used to.

The performance improvements are small but noticeable everywhere. Content renders faster, apps start up and resume a little quicker, the touchscreen is generally a little more responsive, etc. The RAM improvements have been well documented and live up to the hype. I didn't think the regular 6 was too bad in this regard (apps only reloaded after a bit of browsing in Safari), but the 6S is flawless with multitasking. I doubt I'll ever see an app reload again.

I haven't really played with the camera yet so I don't have any comments on this.

Hey Siri works quite well and I am planning to use this feature now that it doesn't require mains power.

I've heard some conflicting opinions about the speaker on the S models this year, but I'm personally very pleased. It either sounds louder than my 6 or it just sounds better / clearer. Perhaps the 6S Plus is different, but the speaker on the 6S is great.

The screen on the 6S is great. It is the best screen I've had on an iPhone in years. Obviously the resolution could be higher, but the colours and vibrancy are fantastic and every bit as good as the 6. My whites are better this year, which is nice, and the brightness seems the same or better (contrary to some reviews I've read). This is probably an area that is very subjective or dependent on manufacturing. Your mileage may vary.

No loose buttons this year. I've usually always got one so that's great.

And finally, I haven't had any app crashes on iOS 9 on my 6S yet. I was having a few on my 6 so I'm wondering if the extra RAM is helping with stability.

Pleased for you, but make sure it doesn't lock to the first SIM Card you put into it...

An update in case anyone was wondering about getting a phone from Dixons. I can confirm the 6s I purchased from Dixons (Heathrow branch) was fully unlocked. I set it up with an O2 sim but have just tested it with a Three sim, it worked fine and have now gone back to my O2 sim.

Anyone know why the Apple Store have stopped taking reservations for today already? Is it always a Sunday thing (I assume no deliveries would come in).

Good to know, thanks for the update.

It begs the question though-if Dixons can offer fully unlocked iPhones and Currys can offer unlocked iPhones, why the hell don't Carphone Warehouse offer them (I don't buy their BS about "Apple's software does the locking")?

Think I have settled for this case as my main daily driver. Feels most comfortable in the hand

Trying to print my return label on my order status page, but because their systems are down for maintenance on Sunday, everybody is being redirected to the order status page for FAQs. Went out to the internet cafe to print the label, order page goes down, I pay £1 for no reason.

I just read that O2 and Three are merging. When did that happen?

Funnily enough, the merger appears to now be in jeopardy, the CMA has voiced doubts about it (which is what has brought it back into the news). There is a good chance that it won't get the go ahead from either the CMA or Europe.

Everyone is different, that's the beauty of life, I guess. For me, finding my perfect case, is a constant battle of finding an ideal compromise between aesthetics & function.
I used to love the Apple Leather case, now I find that too bulky.
I went through a phase of clear TPU cases, but got annoyed at how my OCD would kick-in and I'd be wiping the back of the case as much as the front!
I've settled on the ultra-thin Shumuri Slim Extra case - minimal, with a micro -textured matte back, so I don't worry about it getting greasy.

And I've just gone back to my Apple leather case!

Like the look of that case. I'm still rocking a 5C 8gb (please, don't say anything anyone. I know. Long story ha).
I'm waiting to buy my 6S in SG which should be this week sometime and am on the lookout for a case.

I've always used my phones naked but find the 6/6S to be a bit too slippy in the hand on its own. That case you have there looks perfect. Thanks for posting.

So I originally bought a Case Mate Naked Tough transparent case for my 6s Plus, but it proved to be a little too slippy and didn't have any real protection at the bottom.

Although I really hate cut outs for the Apple logo, the Spigen Neo Hybrid Metal is the closest case to perfect for me. I wanted a better lip around the screen and something a bit sturdier that could take a drop, as well as something that had more grip.

I've got the 'equivalent' Spigen (bagged it for 99p delivered next day!), but after seeing you post this yesterday, I've ordered one and it's coming tomorrow.

I hope it's as thin as the Spigen.
I used the Spigen Ultra Hybrid till a few days ago and I got a Ringke Fusion one now and I'd say it is thinner than the Spigen one .. Also the added protection for the headphone and charging port is nice as well. However the Ringke Fusion case can let dust in esp near the volume keys and power as the TPU is softer there. I'm tempted to go back to the Spigen case , however I need to buy another one as I gave my Spigen one away to a work colleague :)

Anybody had any decent luck with screen protectors for a 6s?? I've used the attached link and I've torn it off. Made 3D Touch a nightmare, especially for the nifty hard press in the left for open apps.

The 5c is NAKED HAND NIRVANA. I'm holding out for a plastic iPhone 6/7.

Edit: Nirvana with an 'r'. Stupid 'don't flag words in all caps' spellchecker.
