I can't seem to reserve a new iPhone 6s Plus from the website for collection. What's the chances they will have one in stock if I go in store?
If the website says there aren't any, you are unlikely to get one.

Keep checking though. I had mine pop up in the middle of the day

Thought the 6s plus was slightly thicker than the 6 plus? So would this case be a bit of a tighter fit?
The fit is tight, can't say how much tighter than the 6S+ case as I do not have that one, but the 6+ case works on the 6S+.

Although it's the plus model I'm after I checked the regular 6s for availability.

Every colour and memory option is available! I'd have thought that with the 6 plus being less popular availability wouldn't have been an issue!

I reckon it was more to do with the cack-handedness of the previous owner to cause a rip like that and not whether they had a 6S or 6S Plus! The old-style cases do fit somewhat tighter on the new S-models but it's not likely you will cause damage like that if you're careful when installing and removing the case.

Unlike with the 6 and 6 Plus where former was more popular then the latter with the 6S and 6S Plus it's the other way around. I think with the 6 and 6 Plus a lot of people were cautious as they thought the Plus would be too big. I think a lot of people have found subsequently that it's not necessarily that big plus it has additional features which give it an advantage over it's smaller counter part. Ever since the launch of the 6S and 6S Plus the latter has been far more scarce then the latter due to supply and demand.

what screen protector do people recommend? I think the Spigen one is crap. I like Anker but with Amazon's minimum £20 for free delivery, am a bit stuck as I dont have £20 worth of stuff to order!

I love my 6S Plus, but agree the multitasking 3D touch shortcut is so hit and miss that I don't use it, everything else with 3D touch is easy.

I'm hoping 9.1 will improve the multitasking 3D touch gesture.
I'm using the beta and its okay it seems!

Yes. I didn't like it much. Any other suggestions? :)

You could go for a slim screen protector (0.33mm and less) that doesn't affect 3D Touch on the 6s/6s Plus Models.

What's your issue with it? Seems straight forward enough so far.

I use my 6S+ one handed and using 3D Touch for mutli-tasking seems to work 40% of the time - for example trying to activate it from the homescreen, if you accidentally move the app screen by even a micro by accident then 3D Touch will never activate until you lift your finger and try again. I find activating with the tip of your finger works has a higher success rate but that's not always easy one handed.

If you try and activate it from where the dock is - it literally never works one handed but seems to work two handed.

Often it trys to select text, or activates force touch on the app rather then the multitasking.

It just doesn't seem overly intuitive for Apple, maybe if they increased the touch area for the multi-tasking and made it work just as well activating with a flat thumb as the tip of the thumb it would create a better one hand experience.

My shipment date for the plus is around 21st-27th - When do you reckon it will be delivered? Are they ahead or behind in shipments?

The open bottom worries me Sod's law that's where it will hit when it falls ,I'm using the 1p orzly and to be honest I'm more than happy with it it's totally clear and protects everywhere

I think it's far more likely to be due to the reports that Apple were able to manufacture vastly more regular 6s models compared to the 6s+ due to a shortage of displays for the 6s+.
