I think it's far more likely to be due to the reports that Apple were able to manufacture vastly more regular 6s models compared to the 6s+ due to a shortage of displays for the 6s+.

That too. However I do also think the demand for the 6S Plus is far greater then that of the 6 Plus.

I have got the Panzer Glass screen protector waiting for when my 6S+ turns up, just trying to decide on a case now.

Seriously! Every time I've checked stock for store reservation (out of curiosity to check if it would be a nightmare when I buy) they've had the model I want available. 64gb gold 6s.

Today I check it so I can actually reserve one and buy it and nope.

No silver 64gb either.

16gb and 128gb in every 6s model and 64gb in both space grey and rose gold.

Only models not in stock are the either of the ones I want!

That's the one. Comes with a nice screen protector too.
I have got this case , but i have gone back to the Ultra Hybrid v2 from Spigen.

The Ringke Fusion is too loose around the power button and volume keys , and it also seems to let dust in as it has holes on the side of the keys as well . Its not a bad case overall , but the Spigen one is better quality.

Also i have purchased clear dust caps for the 3.5mm and Lightning Ports

Bought a 6s today so now I have both sizes and one week to decide which to keep. I can't help thinking Apple really screwed up the sizing - they are too far apart. 4.7 & 5.2" would have been perfect, or possibly 5" & 5.5"

With a relatively standard size of many android handsets being 5-5.2" it just seems like a lot of people will feel like the 6s is too small and the 6s plus is too big. There is no goldilocks phone

I've had a 6 Plus since day of release and now 6s Plus and for me it's the perfect size. I'd never go back to a smaller phone. It just takes time to get used to it. I think Apple nailed it, spot on re size.

My Mum has the iPhone 5C and whilst it's perfectly suited to her needs I couldn't imagine going back to a 4" display. In fact the last time I saw her it felt like a child's toy!

Personally I think the sizes and the difference in sizes are just fine. Someone who wants a larger phone then the previous iPhone models but not that much larger can go for the 6/6S. Those who want something much larger can go for the 6 Plus/6S Plus. I went from the 5S to the 6 Plus and now the 6S Plus and I couldn't be happier. I almost defected to the dark side a few times in the past to Android as I wanted a bigger phone. I'm glad I didn't and waited as I can't see my self using anything but an iPhone and I love the 5.5" size of the 6 Plus/6S Plus. It can be a bit unwieldy in the pocket sometimes but that's something I'm willing to put up with.

Putting up with and unwieldy doesn't sound 'just fine' ;)

You don't find it clashes with your iPad? Do you think the iPhone makes your iPad less necessary?

Nope, I have a plus and s plus. I still use my iPad for movies at times.

I disagree as the pros far outweigh the cons. Yes sometimes it can feel a bit cumbersome but it's worth putting up with to reap the benefits of a bigger display. I've got use it now anyways after having a 6 Plus for a year and now a 6S Plus.

As for clashing with my iPad not in the least. They serve different purposes in different situations. I cannot use the internet at work for personal use not to mention its slower then the cellular and wi-fi on my phone plus it doesn't have my book marks or passwords/username saved. The 6S Plus allows me to access the internet whilst at work on a decent sized display. The iPad is not discrete enough as I work in an open plan environment and would get in trouble if I used it whilst working.

I've bought concert tickets ( which typically go on sale in the morning whilst I'm at work ), purchased items online, checked forums like this one, tracked purchases online including ones on Apple.com, used social media apps etc. all on my phone. That's something I would find difficult on a smaller display even that of the 6S.

That too. However I do also think the demand for the 6S Plus is far greater then that of the 6 Plus.

I spoke to someone I know who works for Apple, he said that they were getting around 8-10 times more regular handsets than plus handsets.

Somedays it has been even worse, they might receive 100 regular s's and only 4 plus handsets. It's definitely a limited supply problem rather than being hugely more popular.

Will give it a try

I have like 3 other cases and so far the spigen case with the black bumper and clear back. Feels good in the hand but will try this one

I've got the Ringke & the Spigen.

As a case, I think I prefer the Spigen, but I don't really like the exposed top and bottom, so I tend to use the Ringke as my daily driver (which in fairness I've not had any issues with).

I'd be interested to know where you got the dust caps from though. ;)

Did you guys have the 3-4 or 2-3 week dispatch times? and how far into that did you get 'preparing for dispatch'?

Ordered on the 4th.
