I'd take it direct to Apple rather than Voda. Apple are more likely to deal with it there and then

No I don't believe so. They'll s so it for a white box refurb. But at the end of the day the day apples refurbs are just as good as new. Perhaps even better as they'll have been through testing to ensure they're up to being handed out.
Hmmm hate refurbished phones tbh..always prefer things brand new... How come some people get brand new handsets?

Not sure what to do....this apple home button going hot and then having to reset has only happened once so not sure if i should give it a while or take it back to apple?

If you're within 14 days then return it to voda they may replace it with a new one but there CS leaves a lot to be desired.

I've never heard of anyone returning a phone to Apple and getting a new one unless they return the old one under the 14 day return and then rebuy a new one.

I'm not sure if you've ever had an Apple refurbs but they look brand new.

Unfortunately unless you're in your 14 day cooling off period there's little chance you will get a brand new phone going via Apple or voda.

.

I'm a bit concerned by the 'buy a new one' part. I have a 6s plus and a 6s and I was planning I return one on Tuesday once I'd figured out which I want to keep. Are you saying they won't refund?

I was saying if he doesn't want a refurb and is still within 14 days he can return it for a refund then buy a new one. Meaning he won't have a refurb. But he bought from voda not Apple and I don't know boss's policy.

If you bought from a store less than 14 days ago you can return it without question.

If you bought online in not sure. I know you can return for a certain time without question but I'm not sure of the procedure or time scale as I've only ever bought in store.

I was with voda absolutely years ago and even then CS was atrocious.

If you're worried take it to Apple for them to have a look.

I think for online you have to inform apple of your intent to return within 14 days, but you then have a further 14 days to get it to them or return to a retail store. That seems open to abuse if you're on the fence - could you use that to get 28 days and then decide to keep it?

As for the OP - surely it matters where you bought the original? If it was a Vodafone contract then won't you need to go through voda?

Orzly - FlexiSlim Case for Apple iPhone 6 PLUS & 6S PLUS (2014 V... http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00MX1O7BM/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_R-alwbDCPXWZE

That case has become my favourite as well, looks and feels like it should cost a lot more.

With Apple I doubt you would even know whether it was a new replacement or a refurb, what Apple call a refurb is something that has been back to the factory and had a new housing, battery and screen fitted (as a minimum).

Chances are most replacements of the 6s will still be completely new handsets as I don't think there has been enough time for phones to go through the return process, be refurbished and then returned to the retail channel yet.

I have bought refurbished stuff from Apple before. And I can assure you, you will not be able to tell the difference between new and refurbished. They are that good.

Will this case gather dust inside and scratch the sides after a while? I remember my neighbour had a similar type case a while ago.

Which is correct? I booked mine in for return it stated 14 days to return it but on my return email it states 5 business days so I'm not sure which

Is anyone else having issues with search function in contacts? Since I've updated to ios9.1 I can't search for contacts in the contacts app.

iPhone 6s Plus 64gb.
My wife has this problem. She searches in contacts for a name and it gives her email results. Mine is fine however.

She has restored from backup for years while I always setup as new.

Depends on how well you look after the phone, I've always used these sort of cases and have never had an issue with scratching, but then I take the time to remove and clean the case and phone at least twice a week.

having said that, the Orzly is a very good fit.

How much battery are you getting on your 6S?
I am paranoid about mine...don't think I get near long enough?
I just about get 6 hours whilst some people on here get 12 hours!

I got 7.5hrs on the last charge with about 35hrs standby. TMSC 6s. Seemed pretty good.

did you use the internet constantly...and did you use low power mode?

Almost all the usage was internet based - a lot of safari, and maybe 90 minutes of Iplayer/youtube streaming video. I think I probably did enable low power mode at 20%
