UK iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus Thread

Wow mine went to shipped about 7 hours after this and is being delivered today!

Hi guys, I'm back! So initially having purchased a 6s+ white, I was going to revert back to the 6s but I opted for the 6s+ in slate but now I'm really happy. The black makes it look a little smaller somehow, but I'm loving it.
 
I am surprised my 6S+ is the same size as my Note 5 as I thought it was supposed to be larger. One thing I'm less keen on is its weight compared to the Note 5.

I was thinking about getting silver 6s plus myself but end up getting space grey. I think black front look better on bigger model and white one suits better 6s.

You've got a Note 5 in the UK? I heard that they only work on 3G and not 4G if you have an import. Can you confirm?

I have the global C model & it works fine on Vodafone 4G. I believe it works on all 4G networks in the UK but haven't tried obviously.

I've just read up on it again and it doesn't work on O2. I knew I'd read something about it not working in the UK. If you're not on O2 then you're fine.

If it works with Vodafone 4G it has to work with o2 4G, Vodafone and o2 both run 4G on 800Mhz.

Just checked on Samsung's site:

  • 4G FDD LTE
    B1(2100), B2(1900), B3(1800), B4(AWS), B5(850), B7(2600), B8(900), B12(700), B17(700), B18(800), B19(800), B20(800), B26(800)

UK uses B20 800Mhz, B3 1800Mhz and B7 2600Mhz so all UK networks on all LTE bands covered.

EE use 800/1800/2600 and the phone supports them all so should work perfectly. I would presume there would be Amazon sellers, I found the specs on the UAE Samsung site so there should be plenty of importers. Just ensure you get the correct international version which appears to be the 920C (as per @super chimp's post above).

I'm so tempted but what about support?

I'm so bored of iOS but do love the physical device (6s Plus). I love the idea of themes, I'm a tech geek too.

The most difficult trade up for me is iMessage.

iOS 10 needs to really be a game changer, some people like me who have been using iOS since 3.0 are getting rather bored.

Im getting a solid 8-9 hrs usage and 24-48 hrs standby with my average usage. I have most background app refreshes off and wifi assist off. It easily gets me through my day, but I carry an Anker Lipstick battery 3350mAh just in case.
 
My iPhone 6S Plus has 76% battery left at 5pm, been off charge since 6am this morning. Couldn't be happier with the battery life. I don't need to take the Anker battery pack with me anywhere now.

thats a lot

i get like 7-8 hours with heavy use...should i return it to apple?
