My favourite case i currently have on on the 6 is the Skechit one.

Its available for 6+ from O2 shop, seen it there today and also Skechit on their website have these cases for 6+ and 6s+

Ordered few from amazon for 99p too.

Might get the Skechit one too and try it and return if it doesnt fit. But i do hope it fits.

Yes it looks like a scam lol

But if he is wanting to pay via paypal, and you send it. How does he scam you? If he's already paid and added £50 then you have payment right?

You're not protected if they charge a refund or anything because the buyer/seller protection is eBay exclusive. That's why you should never send money when dealing with large transactions when trading outside eBay or else you won't be covered and you have a high risk of losing your product after its sent.

They then usually send a fake PayPal email littered with typos and poor grammar which implies they've paid. Clearly most people check their accounts to see if anything is in there first but I'm sure plenty fall for it.

PayPal can be reversed if the buyer doesn't receive the item, and these scammers fraudulently abuse that. PayPal almost always rules in the buyer's favour.

I've had a guy before say "I've sent the money to PayPal, email them to get them to credit your account".

You couldn't write it.

While you're essentially correct, PayPal does their own buyer and seller protection for transactions outside of eBay that are processed by their 'goods and services' option.

Chill out no need to panic.

Ive just been to the Apple store Meadowhall, and told them i have reserved a 6+s what is the process.

They told me to bring a photo ID and also each phone reserved will have a name against it and they will pull it out and you buy it. He also said all the 6+S 64GB have all been reserved now so none left.

Easy process, also got to see the gold and rose gold aluminium watches with the new straps, look nice. Oh and they had the docks too. All display models are on the new docks.
Yep sounds like an easy process. Can't wait until the 25th. I'm so glad I got my order in and now I know I don't have to do the whole queuing (without reservation) thing. It would have ruined my holiday lol

I had one try when I was selling my 5s. They said they'd send payment as soon as I gave them a tracking number. Yeah right!

I put an add on gumtree to sell my 5S. I had so many weird replies and they all sounded like scams. In the end I sold it to CEX. I don't trust gumtree, not just being scammed financially but I'm scared of being robbed if the person asks to meet up to do the transaction. I'd rather sell my old phones to recycling sites/CEX even if I'll get less.

They basically send you the money from a hijacked PayPal account... So as it if fraud and the owner of the account did not initiate the sale they will reverse it and as you sent it to an address not attached to the PayPal account you have zero protection as a seller.

They tried this on me about 10 years ago all was fine until I got an email saying that they had to go away on business so could I send it to a different address... Alarm bells rang and I contacted the guy by phone registered to his pay pal account and he did not have a clue what I was talking about and he had not bought a phone.... We contacted PayPal to tell them that it was Fraud and they ended up charging me £10 fee for reversing the change as it was fraud..... It was me who told them it was fraud!!!!

I only ever meet up with a Gumtree person if they have a Facebook account so I can see they're a proper person! And can track them down if they rob me. And never go alone.

Off topic now, let me try and bring it back! Haha

Has anybody received a colour matching dock?

Looking on Apple's UK website, 16GB and 64GB 6S phones are still available to order for 25 Sept delivery...

Either stocks are many, many times higher than any previous iPhone release, or demand is indeed well down.

Just checked CEX and they're only offering £379 for 6+ 128gb. That's too little for me.

I think Apple have more in stock than previous years. Perhaps part of the longer term plan to make the Retail experience more simpler and straightforward?

And there are those who upgraded to the 6/6+ last year and are happy with their devices still?

Posted about this early on this afternoon. It'll be interesting to see sales figures on preorders.

I don't get why anyone ordering a 6s would buy a screen protector they don't know will work with 3D touch yet, and even if it does it's bound to affect sensitivity! Or why buy case when every dimension is larger than the 6 those cases were designed for! Fitted cases are going to be stretched in every direction, Right???

why wont the screen protector work?? for what i watched on the key note its all to do with pressure on the screen. the pressure from your finger will just be passed through the protector onto the screen
