Well I can only tell you that I have a 6+ and i think it is great. I do have big hands so I can mostly use it with one hand. I am a heavy user in my opinion and the battery always lasts all day. Sometime I can go to be and still have 50% left. If you want better battery life go for the plus. If you want more pixels then get the plus.

Currently running iOS 9.1 PB on my 6+ and I've still got 69% battery life remaining (and that's with Bluetooth enabled). Vastly superior to iOS 8.4.1!

Gotta go back and pull you on this.

Whilst the iP6s cases offer backwards compatibility with the 6 on Apples website, the iP6 cases are not listed as compatible with the 6s - so nobody should be ordering a iP6 case for their 6s from the Apple site, unless it's a flexible model.

Good point actually sorry for that statement. Guess we won't know that for sure until we get our 6S'es.

Thanks everyone for advice! So far think I'm going to stick with the 6S+ and try it out and then exchange it for 6S if too big as most places have 6S in stock so shouldn't be as much of a problem exchanging 6S+ to 6S as it would be exchanging the other way! Keep the advice coming because it's extremely helpful! :)

Here's some more then. Don't be a fool, wrap your tool ;) But seriously though have Apple got rid of the product red leather case?

That sounds great. Never got the PB for my plus. Hopefully with the full release it is as good if not better. I have installed the PB on my iPad 3rd gen. It is crazy good with battery always has been. Barely use it now but battery is on 59% and usage is 9hrs 55mins and standby is 332hrs 10mins. Absolutely crazy.

Not even for 2-3 weeks?
Nope. Lol. I'm too attached to my iPhone to not use it as my daily driver now. I could use an android phone as a second device but it can't be my main device. I'm to entrenched in the Apple ecosystem (iPads, MacBook, Apple TV, watch). Anyhow my Apple watch would be a paperweight for 3 weeks so I wouldn't be happy.

I ended up returning the nexus 7 2013 I bought last month. I couldn't get on with it. I've spent too much time away from android now I think.

I use eBay. You know the buyers are genuine because they pay with paypal.

Yes I know there are fees, but you know exactly how much interest there is.

I will be selling my 128GB 6 Plus on eBay. I will list it at the beginning of launch week and with any luck it will
sell for a much higher amount that I would get from a phone buying site the day before I get my new iPhone.

My plan too. Going on on Friday.

Yeah I get that, still for the extra £75 I personally will use my edge for 2-3 weeks before I sell the 6S plus I think

Lol I finally managed to download the keynote to my iPhone, only SD mind. That's how bad my internet is in Greece. I'll have to re-watch it in HD when I get back home.

How long are the lightning cables in the box with the iPhone? I can't find anything on apple where it says "In the box".

Guys I need advice on what to do! I posted on here yesterday and earlier today, firstly saying I'd ordered the iPhone 6S 64GB and then secondly saying I'd swapped it for 6S+ but I can't decide which I want!

I have a 6 now and half of me wants a bigger screen and the other half is happy with what I've got! At the moment I have a 6S+ on order scheduled to come on the 3rd Oct, but I could cancel and get a 6S 64GB on launch day but I don't know which I want? Any advice/helping me choose would be much appreciated, fire away!
As you've got a 6 I'd say wait for the 6s+ to arrive and see if you can deal with the bigger size. Given we can still get 6s stock now I'd say you'll be fine getting a 6s if you don't like the 6s+ and want to change. 14 days to return it, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to pick up a 6s in store.

Well that's my plan anyway :)

Honestly, you really need to try both to determine which is right for you. I popped into a local Apple store and played around with both 6 and 6+ before i got my 6 and i decided the 6+ was just too large to be handy/pocketable. I did the same yesterday morning before opting again to go with the 6S. Opinions will of course vary, and the plus seems to be the flavour of the month at the moment, but it's definitely not for me.

I honestly thought (this time last year) the iPhone 6 Plus that it'd be too large for me. My Mum's got the 5C and it feels like a child's toy in comparison.

I think I'd find it very hard to adjust to a screen with 4"/4.7" now!

Is that 100% right? I've I order a case now they won't try and merge it with my phone order?

100%
every order gets its own order number, has its own cancel option etc. They don't do an amazon and group things unless you ask them lol.

Yeah my missus has the 5c and its way too small.

Last year I sent back the 6+ and opted for the 6. Think this year the jump from a 6 to a 6s+ should be easier to deal with.

I ordered my iPhone 6S 64GB silver directly from Apple. Everything smooth so far. It is my first personal iPhone I ordered without reading any review. I hope there will be no surprises (like decreased battery life or display quality regressions due to that extra 3D touch hardware).

There are rarely any surprises with Apple devices. People say they are boring and don't change but if you like what you have you know that you are going to like the next one.

I've seen a lot of people saying cases are interoperable, but as you said, Apple don't actually say this anywhere.

It seems perfectly viable that the 6s cases are engineered to have a little more give in them than the 6 cases, so they can tightly fit either 6 or 6S, but the 6 cases are already a tight fit on the 6, and the extra millimetres on a 6s are likely to cause an issue, I think!

Thank you, Looks like I may need to go and purchase the 2 meter one.

First iPhone with lightning? Don't bother spending the money on Apple lightning cables. They tear so easily and you will end up forking so much money if you keep buying their cables. Buy them from Amazon, I'm currently using these are they're very reliable and I don't tend to buy third party cables but the Apple cables are daylight robbery.

Here's a link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/AmazonBasic...178248&sr=1-1&keywords=amazon+basic+lightning

P.S. If you want I can PM you a picture of one of my cables are how it tore.
