I upgrade with O2, and there's this thing called 'Switch Up' which essentially means every 90 days you can give them your phone (wear and tear/scratches etc are fine) and then change models on the spot, no questions asked.

You can even do it online, so you Switch Up, get the new phone delivered, then send them the old one and it's all done.

No fees, no charges. Really works well and they don't care about the condition as long as it's not smashed, dented or badly chipped.

Therefore if I'm not happy I can change again in December to the Pro.

I think I'm going to do that - get the Air, see how it goes, and if I miss the Pro camera or the battery is worse than expected, I'll Switch Up to the Pro on December 18th (after the 90 days).
Respectfully, the only problem is that you are with O2, which in my experience is the most godawful of carriers.

It's soo ugly isn't it? Why didn't they keep the Natural Titanium glass colour for the cutout? Like seriously...

What's so ironic to me is that I have had every single iPhone since the iPhone 3G and never used a case.

But if I do end up getting a 17 Pro (either at launch or in December when I can swap my handset for no charge) I will have to get a nice minimalist case for my phone purely to hide the disgusting 'sticker' vibe present on all 3 Pro models.
I for one really dig the silver colourway, and don't find the 'sticker' design off-putting at all. To me these look quite futuristic and 'pro' in the best possible way, but then again I am getting a black Air, so...

Pre Order completed with pre-approval. Trading in my 16 Pro/256GB. Went for the Blue Pro Max 512GB.

Also ordered the new AirPods 3 and AWU3 - replacing my AirPods Pro 2 and AWU1.

Now need to decide what to do for the Missus. She is on a 14 Standard. Half tempted to get her the Air.

It's done. 17 Pro Max 512 Cosmic Orange.

I'm approved on a 17 Pro Max 512GB in Silver but erring between that and the Blue. Also wondering if I need to spend the extra £200 on the 512GB as I still have 116GB free on my current 256GB S25 Plus.

Hmmm that’s the dilemma! The mono speaker is putting me off too

I think I can get over that. I don’t listen to music through the iPhone speakers. It’s kinda anti social when sitting on a bus or train etc. I use my AirPods. That said I do use speakerphone a lot when home or work and to be fair do I need stereo?

I’m still leaning towards the iPhone Air. I love the look of it but I just can’t complete the get ready on it yet.

17 Pro Max camera's are superior than S25 so you will end up making more videos and snap more photos.
I say stick with 256 GB. Not sure about the Silver though.

Currently have 14PM, didn't think I'd go for a 17 unless Apple Intelligence was going to have major improvements, but now seriously tempted by the 17PM due to quality of life improvements. Will see what trade in I can get, and if I do press the button it will definitely be orange.

Not tempted by the Air, I think it is overpriced for what it is (too near the Pro) and too many compromises have been made to make it that thin. I can imagine it either seriously throttling or becoming extremely hot if it is pushed.
