Fellow UK iUP users.

How is the process now? I got approved, do I need to do anything else when ordering? Also am I able to get it delivered instead of pickup? Add to that, I am out of UK between tomorrow and 26th, would they keep it in store if that's the only way to take it? Thanks!
iUP has to be done in store in the UK still

Anyone else ordering through Sky? Last year wasn't great, lots of customers who got their orders in early (i.e. around 1pm) had substantial delays to mid-October, with some who ordered a week later getting their devices sooner than them.

I’ve locked in the nappy max.
It’s getting cased up and I figure the lighter colour will be more forgiving

I went for ehh and nuts

YOLOOOOO might change my mind

Haven’t had a max since the XS, don’t need the size, but this is retail therapy 🫠

I'm really surprised by how little love there is for the Air.
LOVE the polished titanium and how thin it is, and prefer the colour options, but for the price the trade-offs are big ones for me - less battery, inferior cameras to the Pro/Pro Max and the single (non-stereo) speaker. Also it's e-sim only.

Going with Pro Max this year but I do like the premium look of the Air.

Yeah i stopped buying from EE last year because they decided to split Device and Airtime plan which meant F&F discount only applied to Airtime.
Ever since I switched to using iPhone (starting with the 3GS), I always bought my phones outright, typically once a year—until the iPhone 11 Pro Max, when I switched to a 2 or 3-year upgrade cycle.

Nice. EE discounts were good.

Started at 50% when it was T Mobile, then 40% and 30% since they changed to EE on full contract.

Currently 50% on Airtime only.

I am on Three (I know, not a popular choice), I have been for many years, although I have 4 contracts with them (me, partner and my parents), so I typically pay £18 a month for each with all the perks.

They are decent you know.

I get 5G Home Broadband from Three as I do not have full fibre in our area.

I only pay £10.50 pcm after F&F discount and get speeds in the region on 800mbps - 1100mbps (DL) and 200mbps (UP).

This sounds like you have applied for financing rather than the iUP... iUP you can't do anything until you reserve from 1pm on Friday

Anyone else seeing this when the go into the Apple Store app, go into your account and select iPhone Upgrade Program? I have a 16 Pro Max currently on the upgrade program and was expecting to just reserve my upgrade like before. I've not had the opportunity to save a phone.

Very nice price indeed, a bargain!

I actually forgot they gave me a 5G broadband package last year as a loyal customer for over 10 years (I forgot about it completely since we never use or notice we used it, as our main net from CF is too fast 3gb up/down and it's never down).

How easy is it to change colour on Friday if I've already been approved by Barclays? I'm going back and forth between orange and navy..

Genuinely confused by the need for the Air tbh. Feels like the SE of the range now, but with the mid tier price tag. The thinnest iPhone nobody asked for with the addition of getting a battery pack because even Apple aren’t convinced the battery life will be as good as they suggest. A strange one tbf.
iPhone air is a vision apple had for a long time now a thin sheet of glass which is a phone ,
Now use your imagination and imagine 2 of them but with a hinge and you have the iPhone foldable .
If I didn’t upgrade to 16 pro max in may I would have got the air model .
Same battery as 16 pro and it’s ultra thin with 120hz .
The air model will be one of those things where you see one and you want one , these things will sell quick

Got an iPhone 17 bog standard in black. Trading in my 15p.

£16 a month on BPF for a much better battery, newer cpu and slightly bigger screeen.

Battery life has been horrendous on my 15p lately… The 17 just has hardly any compromises. I mean, I couldn’t care less about more cameras. I can’t tell the difference in pictures from my wife’s 14 to my 15p…

If the rumours are ever true, we will have a foldable iPhone next year. I don't think I'll go for it yet, too scared to jump on a 1st get of its kind, maybe the 2nd get I might.

It won't be something I will see and want, I am not impulsive like that. I certainly won't be buying a foldable phone at any point in the future either, they are of no interest to me whatsoever. Happy with the Pro Max size for as long as it is available.

The Finance Program online in the UK states that I can upgrade anytime... ?! Isn't that the same?

Edit: I just checked, so this is a pure Finance deal but not the Upgrade Program.
Annoyingly I was rejected last year after 3 years in the upgrade program. They didnt give me the reason, but I suspect it was because I used my middle name, which previously didnt... Therefore I bought the phone outright.
It was a bit embarrassing and not sure if I want to go through this again.
