Thinking of ordering Ghost for my 17 Pro CO.

Good decision or bad decision?

That looks like a good compromise for a nice clean back and protected sides so you can't see the pocket lint.

My phone came yesterday but I was in Edinburgh for the day so it is still in the box while I decide to do a transfer or clean install and to use last years screen protector while I wait for an origarmour or risk it and go without.

Spoke to EE in store…. Hoping to upgrade to the 17 pro max quicker than waiting for my online order….they told me they don’t expect freely available stock until DECEMBER
Freely available, not until January. Sep - Nov are people who pre-ordered as well as walk-ins taking all the stock and once all of those are fulfilled, then it's Christmas gifts. It doesn't die down until after Christmas.

Mine is still in Processing. Expected delivery is 06 - 13 and I'm not sure they'll be hitting it to be honest. I do know some have had their tracking on the day before so maybe I shouldn't expect anything until Friday/Monday

Thanks had a look on the app and showing Sage out of stock. Really seems to be the must have colour for the 17.

I got the 17 in blue, it may well be the best iPhone I’ve had. I had always used the pro model since they came out with pro motion, now the regular model has it there is no need for me to spend the extra for features that don’t benefit me.

Love my 17

I suspect the only thing I’m going to miss is the telephoto camera. Mind you I generally only use that up to x3 on my iPhone 13 Pro and I think you can still do up to x2 on the 17.

There are apps that can help with lack of telephoto lens. I believe Halide is good! It costs though.

It may be worth it to you though if you use telephoto often but I don’t so I can live without the lens.

Managed to order a 256GB Pro Max in Cosmic Orange this morning for collection from the Manchester Arndale store.

Been diligently checking it most morning’s this week and was about to give up and put in a delivery order, so it was a result.

Can you elaborate? With multiple banking, financial and international apps and over 400 apps in total. This is not even an option for me. How long is setup taking if you’re ensuring you’re logged into to all your apps?
Not long 3-4 hours especially on Sunday whilst watching football.

Data like Photos, iMessages and etc gets pulled from iCloud and rest i take my time plus its helps me clear out dormant apps.

Well done you. Its ok Labour are bringing ID cards for this very reason so going forward you can pick up iPhone easily lol.
They said to me in the Regent Street store that it may ask for ID it may not when scanning the box, but if it it does we'll see what we can do, i had pics of my drivers licence and passport, they may of helped if needed i don't know.

It's not just reinstalling the apps.. it's all the system preferences and settings. Life is way too short to be going through that level of torture for nothing.

Its not why many set up all new. Its also because there can be bugs or settings or whatever you don't want to set up in the new phone and start fresh.

I myself have always tranfered old to ne phone. But this year I'm gonna start from fresh as my older phones has some weird bug I have not been able to correct or find the reason to

400 apps?! How much storage do you have to be able to have 400 apps? And why do you need that many apps?
