I cancelled the Pro and reordered it now with a delivery week of October 17th any chance it will come sooner? I notice Argos has more stock now
Why did you cancel and then ordered again?😅 Its impossible to say if it would arrive before 17th. It all depends on Apples “crappy” (yes I am salty) distribution handling, and production. No one knows. Maybe it’ll arrive few days before 17thI cancelled the Pro and reordered it now with a delivery week of October 17th any chance it will come sooner? I notice Argos has more stock now

Because it’s a myth, simple as that. You’re claiming that if someone restores from backup - despite the fact there are now multiple ways to do this - that they will end up with an underperforming phone riddled with bugs. It’s a nonsense. While I concede that it is not impossible for an anomaly to occur, particularly if you’re on a beta, for the vast majority of users the restore process is safe and reliable. Why would you call it a myth when its been many users experiences? Just because you have not experienced or observed problems doesn’t mean others hasn’t. 🙄 Its been recommended for years to set up from fresh to avoid passing on problems the other user explains, if you already have problems atleast. If not then you do you. Shrugging it of as a myth is wild to me but thats me
No, not every restore from a backup will result in bug or a buggy phone. But sometimes, bugs can be transferred during a restore. Hence, as part of troubleshooting steps, as mentioned by the poster above, support will suggest a fresh install. To prevent this, I do a fresh install annually, as I also enjoy setting up from now and exploring settings that I had forgotten about and new settings too. This method means I get the best experience and no risk of bugs on my brand new iPhone.Because it’s a myth, simple as that. And I am telling you its not a myth. If you have never experienced it you have no experience and its clear you don’t understand the causes either. CostcoTrying to source another Silver 17 Pro 256GB that isn't from an Apple store.
Every retailer seemingly out of stock in silver, but a few places stocking blue and orange (Currys, Argos).
John Lewis show stock for silver, but when I submit payment get an "out of stock" message.
Argos have one single unit in stock at a store too far away from me.
Anyone know anywhere (other than Apple) who have current stock of a 256GB Silver 17 Pro?

If you join that's near enough the fee is the discount on the iPhoneThanks @Tybull unfortunately I'm not a member.
I didn't know you could buy an online-only membership. Still works out to £1117, but will keep it in mind for future. Appreciate the tip, not in a major rush but if I can't find one elsewhere I may fall back on that one.If you join that's near enough the fee is the discount on the iPhone
