They said to me in the Regent Street store that it may ask for ID it may not when scanning the box, but if it it does we'll see what we can do, i had pics of my drivers licence and passport, they may of helped if needed i don't know.
I've thought this was odd recently. Used to be no collection without ID. The last couple of times I've collected orders at my local Apple Store though, they've just handed me my order without asking for ID. I have had my order/pick up card saved in Wallet on the iPhone which is with me though and have checked in upon arrival, so perhaps if you're checked in on a device signed into your AppleID their systems don't require ID any more?
 
Does anyone have any bad experience with currys? I bought the cosmic orange on their webiste on 1st oct (showing collect in store date 3rd oct). Nothing arrive yet.. still showing "in progress" on my order.. i am thinking of cancelling the order..
Ordered 17 pro silver with them on Wednesday, came next day on Thursday. Very good experience for me.

Bought my last phone (15 pro) with them 2 years ago as well, no issues.

Yeah i had all that in my wallet, pretty sure that's what the women who served me said, was pretty noisy in there.
 
How long should I expect it to take for my status to change from Preparing to ship to Shipped?
 
Last week my order went to PTS on Monday, shipped Tuesday, and delivered Wednesday
I'm expecting something similar to be honest. It all depends on when the actual units arrive in the UK and pass through customs.

I'm assuming that at this point in time, they're still being handed directly out to DHL/DPD as soon as they arrive in the UK.

Import, customs and dispatch are still from a hub at Hinckley, maybe still Syncreon. Although undelivered return address is DP World Logistics UK in Coventry.

Anyone know anywhere (other than an Apple store) that has a BLUE Techwoven case for the 17 Pro in stock for delivery now?

Lots of places have Black in stock, and Amazon have Green and Purple in stock but can't find anywhere with Blue.
 
If I don’t pick up my Pro from Argos after a week will it get returned, and I get a refund?

Normally you can go into your Argos account and cancel the order from there, as long as it’s not been collected, should be fine

Just had my bank decline the Apple Pay for my Pro Max, all sorted now but hope that doesn’t mean I lose my place in the queue!
How long does it usually take to go from "Processing " to "Preparing "?

Now your only given the option to Amend order through live chat!

I had ordered a pro from them and had to use that option to cancel as I received my order from apple sooner. There did used to be cancel order option but it seems it’s been removed!
