I know it’s because Apple knows that people who want a launch-day phone will order it no matter what. But it really does bother me that they can’t just throw a couple of dummy models into even some stores before the pre-orders go live so that you get an opportunity to have a look at them. I suppose their argument would be that they’re all coming to the store on lunch day and then you may just have to wait a short period of time until you can get a phone when they’re back in stock. But I mean it would be nice to be able to go in and even see the colour options, even if they don’t have the actual phones. Even if they had a back plate with the colours on the materials that they are going to use that year, it would be nice just so you get a rough idea because it is quite difficult to see from a video on YouTube or random pictures that people have taken to judge for yourself, never mind the advertising pictures that Apple use; the colours never look the same as what’s on the website to what it is in real life.

They dont need to and they dont need a bunch of people crowding the store just to look at a colour or look at a dummy phone. Anyone who is undecided can wait until they are instore and then decide (as many do)

What iPhone are you trading in, I got £480 for iPhone 15 PM 256 in Blue Titanium.
15 PM 256 Natural Titanium - Got quoted £600 a while back on Music Magpie and I've been saving it every 14 days. I'm keeping my fingers crossed they honour it?

i know i could get more selling/trading in elsewhere but it's just much easier to do it through apple. i don't want to risk ebay or some dodgy other places.

I’m going to deliberately pre-order late so the phone gets delivered later in the month as I really want to see the different colours as blue kind of feels too safer a choice. Really split on this.

Black will always be the popular colour of any phone
True - I wish they did a jet black

I've leaned towards Blue as I've seem the most images of that online rather than Black, I wish there were more and better photos available. Back to the point someone else mentioned earlier it would be nice if Apple had them on display in stores before pre-order day

are you all accessing the store through the iOS app? or the website?

i was gonna do both but it's not letting me log into the website.
