Other UK iPhone Air /17/17 Pro/ 17 Max/ Pre-Release, Order And Dispatch Thread

I was pre-approved for finance, and saved and now the order says 'on hold' waiting for confirmation of finance.

Is this the same with anyone else or do I have some wierd problem that will delay my phone?

Forgot to add that the AirPods Pro 3 I've also ordered also arrives on Apple Friday

Hating a lot of you right now.

Took 8 minutes to get into the Apple Store on my iPhone. Air ordered within a minute of rhat. E-mail confirmation timed at 13:12.

But my delivery day is Friday 19th, so it’s all good.

Slightly more stressful than last year. By the time I got in, the Orange PM was backordered so that made up my mind on the Air vs. Pro dilemma! Air arriving 19th

Nightmare. Didn't get in til about 5 past. Went through all the steps, "Place Order" button pressed multiple times with nothing doing. Tried on app, got through, all delivery dates slipped and the Silver Pro Max that I had originally decided on was just unavailable everywhere. Changed to Blue, picking up at Bluewater on Friday at 9:15. At least then I can choose a case in-person.

Potential drawback to iUP is having to transfer to your new phone there and then in the Apple Store as you need to hand the old one back immediately to close your old loan. More time with standard financing.

I always just set up as new phone in-store and transfer my physical SIM (which is why I still use a physical SIM) so that I can check the device, screen etc for faults.

Then when I get home I wipe again and set up properly.

Pro Max 256GB CO and Silver delivery dates both now 2-3 weeks. Deep Blue is 7-10 Business days.

Everything seems to have slipped for shipping. Still pickups at certain stores.
South east - 2TB Silver is gone, 2TB blues and oranges still in some stores. (Reading for example). Lower memorys seem to be long gone.

Doesn't seem to be a way to just reserve the phone for Apple Store pickup with the Upgrade Programme.

Good question. Never consider that as Pre Order day is very frantic. Everyone rushing to get their orders confirmed.


You can always go for pick up or try change delivery address if it lets u.

All ordered and delivering to my partners address on 19th. Was easy. Thanks for your help

Apparently everyone is ordering the Light Gold iPhone Air because I ordered at like 8:03 EDT and my delivery date is 9/25 😭.

I had the original nokia orange. And before that the DEC and original Tac.

In fact, before that I had to use one of the original brick phones with the rubber ducky ariel for work

Mine was pre-approved with Barclays and showing as on-hold initially when I checked the app.

Jut refreshed now and it has arrives 19th September, so think it's just processing all the orders (probably a backlog on Barclays end if I were to guess)

I guess we've never know, but I can't think that this year the demand will have gone up from previous? Maybe i guess, so maybe what seems like quicker to slip delivery dates (again just me?) means there was less stock?
