I can't wait to get my hands on this thing! 😍

Anyone else keep checking on the progress of their order(s) constantly?
I used to, but to make the week go quicker I try to forget about it until Thursday as nothing will happen until then anyway, then I Constantly update to see the tracking details and hope it's not DPD as they are always evening for me. DHL would be my preferred they are always usually between 10-11 for me.

Welcome to the club. Obviously the bigger screen and battery life is great, but the trade offs of the Pro Max just aren't worth it IMO. The noticeable extra weight and bulk, and being able to use a phone one-handed like with the 6.3" is a big plus.

Yes I know some people can technically use the Pro Max one-handed if they have large hands or don't mind juggling the phone, but it's awkward. I think if someone stays at home a lot, or is sat down for most of their day and doesn't need to travel/commute a lot then the Pro Max is OK, but for the average person the Pro just seems more life-friendly in every way.
Yeah I can just about use the Pro Max one handed, but requires a bit of precarious hand gymnastics to reach the top-left corner. I like to have the phone caseless and always feels I'm a few millimetres away from disaster!

I am thinking about a case for the 17 though - my last few phones have held up really well, but am worried the aluminium is a bit softer than steel/titanium.

It is my luck my order(s) are arriving on my 4 days off next ( Off from Thursday Until Sunday ).

I would prefer DPD, they always delivered latest by 3pm for me at least and they have a time frame, but I don’t others too, I am thankful Apple do not use Hermas ( Evri ). Always had a bad service.

I prefer DPD as they are reliable in my area. I just hope they never use UPS as they are a total nightmare. they send you a notification that the driver attempted delivery but the truck never makes it to the street. In other words they don't even attempt delivery, had that every time a parcel comes UPS. They are the worst even EVRI is miles better that UPS.

In the early days I do ,out of habit just to make sure the payment goes through okay, then I try to focus on getting the extras delivered during the week, like screen protector and a new fitBAG sleeve! helps fill the week 🤣

Not sure I remember I had this issue with UPS, interesting.

To be fair, I’ve never had an issue with EVRI or UPS. Parcelforce, on the other hand, is a different story they managed to destroy a £6k guitar in a flight case!

I'm hoping DPD. Last year they Shipped my AirPods Max, iPhone 16PM & Apple Watch S10 each with a different courier (UPS, DPD & DHL) UPS & DPD we're smooth delivery, my iPhone came DHL and was estimated to arrive between 11am and 12pm, only to stop tracking at 10:50... the phone then didn't deliver until 3pm, I genuinely thought they'd stolen my phone.

they are 100% unreliable in my area of Glasgow. Total nightmare. I got a notification the driver delivered my Nuki lock but no idea where they delivered it. Had to call them to find out and go collect it. The collection point would not give me it as UPS did not provide a QR code cause the delivery person put it though as delivered to the resident. Was a total nightmare. I have 100% perfect deliveries from my EVRI driver and Royal Mail are not to bad either as I have a regular postman and he is great. DPD are about 95% as they did lose one of my Nespresso deliveries but that was a one off unlike UPS who do it every single time.

hmm… from what I am reading, each delivery courier has its up and down depending where you living in UK, in London for me, Hermas (Evri) has always been the worse and dreaded if used to deliver to me, complete headache.

Isn’t ParcelForce now part/is RoyalMail?

Took a year out last year moved to Android (i know), I'm back and preordered iPhone 17 pro Cosmic Orange yesterday, as my EE upgrade upgrade was due…✌🏽. Case and screen protectors ordered as well my usual suspects from AliExpress, same seller for my last few years.
Can’t wait 😍

Evri aren't too bad for me, UPS used to be rock solid and you could time your watch by it being here at 11am, lately though I too have had issues of random delays and also the "we tried to deliver it but you weren't in" when I most certainly was. Parcelforce are by far the worst for me, they kept supposedly trying to deliver my steam deck but I never saw them nor got a card to arrange a re-dellivery and the website wouldn't let me re-schedule without it. Eventually I just went to the depot early morning and got them to find it for me which they did after about 30 minutes.

Now that it’s moved to “preparing to ship” it won’t move again until Thursday most likely…..so go read a book or something 🤣
Ohh nice! I assumed we would have to wait until Thursday or something before we see any movement as others have said, it is processing for my phones, but the watch it is at that same stage.

I *think* Parcel Force have been part of Royal Mail for a number of years - DPD tend to be pretty sound for me up here in the Midlands and our local Evri courier has usually been pretty good; the only 'criticism' I'd have is that they don't give you time to open the front door before they've left it in our safe place and are running back to their car 😂.
