I know from clients that deal with Amazon it’s a bit fraught getting things listed/ stock into warehouses etc.

There’s always a few phones available for launch but they seem to appear and disappear fast.

I can’t do that launch day crazy anymore. Too old for spending time refreshing John Lewis and Amazon sites from 7am etc.

I hate it on the silver, it’s much more noticeable. Glad I chose Deep Blue! The least offensive of the three colours.
 
So it seems like its still possible to get an Air on release day?

If so are others, like me, waiting on reviews before deciding?

John Lewis still has most models for launch day delivery. might need to be flexible on the storage options.

Like many of us I reckon. I get very active on here a week pre launch then shortly after the new iphone has released i'm done for the year 🤣

I can’t see anyone saying their dates have moved earlier in the previous posts however I remain hopeful and not obsessed. Honest.

I didn’t get order placed until after 2pm and my delivery date is 22nd. Like you I am hopeful for an improvement

Just checked for my local Apple Store and all Air models, except for Cloud White, are available for collection on Friday 19/9.

The Air does not appeal to me, but I would have expected greater demand.

Suppose we don’t know how many they made. But to be honest, I expected the Air to be a lot more popular, I think once they are out in the world the popularity will increase.
