If youve got the money and are excited about it, why not get the duo. you'll be among the first to get it. Don't let other opinions affect what makes you excited
For about 6 years I've been wanting one device that can do as much as possible (a phone, tablet, and for my light personal use, pretty much computer as well). Dabbled with non Apple stuff to varying degrees of success - they were cool products but ultimately my entire life runs smoothly on Apple's ecosystem so I always came back. iPad also sort of does the job but I still need an iPhone right? I resent carrying and looking after the two devices so this is perfect to me. Finally Apple is in the arena of phone / tablet hybrid.

So for that reason I think... let's go for it! On the other hand I'm sitting with a nice iPad Pro M4 , nice iPhone Air, nice high spec MB Air - could consolidate three into one for my light use and it would feel nicer with one device to worry about. It's a lot of money too.

Vodafone pricing is out and.... wow. I'd much rather get it from Apple and go sim-only but as work pay for my device up to a certain limit it makes sense to maximise the value of the handset and sell my existing one at each renewal period. But it's extortionate it has to be said. Tempted to switch.

I did the pre pre. Apple's site says 'credit approved' so the Apple and Creation systems seem to be talking to each other but I'm not seeing it in my account. Might give them a ring today. I've also had an email from Creation welcoming me and I have an account number.
The plan worked a treat. I've now got a nice Creation Apple account. I've cancelled the 18 Pro Max pre pre order and have enough credit for an iPhone Duo and a new MacBook Pro when they launch the new design.

Gone for the Spigen Rugged Armor for the case. Had it for the X and 12 Pro and it did me well on those occasions. Now to decide on what protector to go for. Torras served me well for my 15 Pro Max so might go with them again. But i'll see what people recommend over the next week or so.

Creation is pretty simple to be honest, You'll see your active Apple account in the app with the credit limit. You just checkout with creation. Only 1 credit search is done on initial setup.
Thanks. Makes sense. Wife wants an 18PM so will do the 20 month option with creation as they essentially guarantee you a minimum future trade in value come month 11, which will essentially pay off your existing loan and restart the process. At the same time, I can monitor music magpie and if they are offering more than what would be left on the loan, just sell to them, clear off the creation balance and start again. Protected both ways. Mean while, I need to wait until October for the Duo - bummer!

I've been rolling a £680 + extra £10 (ASDA10) on my 17 Pro 256 at MM for about 4 weeks. Not sure if it's going to hold until the Duo goes on sale, or they will just refuse when I actually try and sell at that price.

Done the exact same. Preordered an 18 pro max to get my creation account and then cancelled. Now ready for the Duo.

Trade in via Apple I can get “up to”
iPhone 17 256gb - £470
iPad Air 13” 256gb - £360

I hardly use my iPad tbh.

Duo looks lovely but camera specs are almost same as my iPhone 17. Screen size is a big down grade from iPad.

My lust head says buy it, but my common sense head says no. Will def try it in store but given the XX is next year I’ll hopefully pass till 2nd iteration or definite news of a flip variant.

post them here please

I’m thinking of pre ordering the 18 pro max for delivery and trading in my 13 pro max, (I’ve only ever traded in when in store) has anyone done this and did the payout match the quote? How quickly would I get the value credited to my account? I’m paying in full for the new phone. Thanks
Last year offered 600 for iPhone 16PM 256g on Trading on Apple website and on pick up in store for 17PM 256g, agreed to 600 on the test of iPhone and in my bank account the next day. Brilliant
