That's it! I give up. I'm going to lie on the sofa and watch a movie and go to sleep. They can come when they want. All this waiting and anticipation has worn me down.
 
I'm giving up too. The delivery man finally showed up and he only had my smart cover, apparently my iPad is with another driver.

Well 3:30 here and Apple say it's in transit with Syncreon, but I can't get their tracking system to respond to any of the numbers on my order. Suspect it's lost somewhere. And, as far as I can tell, the package has been in my hometown for 3 days.
 
Mine came about 11:00am this morning via TNT. This display is outrageous! :D For all of you not getting one today, it'll be well worth the wait. It's like looking at a glowing piece of paper! :)
 
At last, half four, when I'm upto the eyeballs in raw chicken making the tea, the TNT van finally makes it. The driver looked like he'd gone six rounds with Ali.

Once I'd decontaminated myself enough to open the box I finally got to where my brain had been since 8:20 this morning :D :D :D

Hope everyone gets their expected deliveries, enjoy....now I'm off to do just that.
 
Back from the pub and iPad was waiting for me (delivered at 2.46 apparently). Potter took it in and knew what it was (probably quite a few delivered to my building). Asked if i was excited.
 
Managed to sort mine out this morning going to a photography workshop this afternoon. So I got to display my shots on a brand new iPad. They were mucho jealous.

Tracking details have delivery at 6pm today
Just spoke to Syncreon on the phone and the guy got really shirty with me.

Can't even establish what depot my gear's at as it's been in 3 locations today.

Apple customer service can't accept calls, presumably due to overload.
I don't mind not getting my stuff, I just want accurate information

Frustrating :mad:
 
I dont understand with decent stock levels in most stores that the online store has a 2 to 3 week wait?

It is strange, yesterday I cancelled my apple pre-order (from 8th March), as the estimated delivery date was the 30th. Ordered from John Lewis yesterday who can deliver early next week.

I had emailed Tim Cook and the UK customer services to ask why the wait, and did get a call yesterday, but wasnt able to take it, at least Apple are following things up personally.

I too phoned up Apple not long ago and asked them why the wait was silly and they said that its something to do with the distribution process or something

and they were sorry for the delay and will work on getting the good to the customer sooner in future updates and my feedback was valuable.
only reason i have not cancelled the order is because i wanted it engraved.

I don't mind waiting...since they replied with that response....i love a company who listens
