UK New iPad Thread.

Well i think they did in Bath, Southgate store.
i was there about an hour ago, with roughly 10 people left ouside waiting. (by the time i left they had gone) and they still had a high level of iPads on the genius bar.
i think its mainly the iPad 1 owners getting upgrades so it wont be as big as the original iPad or iPad 2 launches.
Plenty of Apple TV's also which is why i went
thats reassuring. I'm sending my wife to the Store on Monday when she goes shopping. I'm hoping she can pick one up for me
Isn't it just. It's my first iPad so nothing to compare but some of my games look almost 3D. Chuffed to bits. Enjoy
Yeah, I only noticed that now! I'm really gutted now. I was planning on going to town to run some errands, but because of this, I've been waiting. I can see me receiving my package around 3 or so. Really annoying waste of a day, just waiting.
I'm waiting for TNT in E16. Mine came in last night to City Airport - just next door to me - and was then shipped off to the depot in Barking before going out for delivery at about 7am. So it's in a van some place between here and Barking and, according to the website, should be with me by 18:00.
It says delivery between 9:00 and 18:00 on the TNT tracking page. So, basically, any time during business hours.

Yup. Hey, it's only a few hours. The wait will make it all the more fun when it arrives.

Took your advice, ordered from JL and grabbed a 64GB wifi model in white
as it includes 2yrs warranty (also mum had a £100 voucher)
If i was to buy the iPad from HK, i would need to wait 2 months, only working out £30 cheaper (i.e if i added apple care)
can't wait to get my iPad now, finally gave in, despite good intentions to wait;
ended up being sucked into the
product vortex, every flippin time ..lol @me----------

those who just have used their shiny new iPads notice the speaker audio is now more boomy? It's definitely not tinny like the iPad 2 speaker.

i am sure being forced to buy an 'essential pack' violates some consumer protection law; like taking out an extended warranty.

Still waiting here in Birmingham, frustrating because the depot is like 15 minutes max from my house.
Yeah I had mine ring with my neighbour collecting his package we kept aside for him when he was out and then some guy doing a house survey, I'm close to losing my patience and going to the pictures I think. I'll give it one more hour. No more!

If you are fairly close to a depot and haven't received it by now then you will most likely be at the end of the route and one of the last deliveries. I'm pretty far from the Birmingham depot and nothing has arrived yet - so I don't know which way round they are going.
