I'm still confident on getting mine next Friday, I think they are just trying to cover themselves at the moment. I might be wrong though.

6 or 6 plus.
The thing is, some of us work and need to make arrangements to receive the delivery. So they better keep us informed.
Hope you do, and I think most iP6 and a small number of iP6+ guys will be pleasantly surprised come the 19th.
6 Plus, I work but did delivery to store as we're too busy at the moment for me to get a day off. Luckily the O2 store is only up the road so I can nip out and collect it when it arrives.

I think it depends on who answers you on social media, someone was complaining that they were lied too and got told its not launch day yet so how have you been lied too.
I should have done collect in store, but am working from home a lot including the 19th so didn't think I needed to. May ask online if I can change without risking my place in the queue and getting my Plus in November
Finally got a confirmation email from O2 after 2 days. Thanking me for my click and collect order, seems to suggest it will be in store on Tuesday, but obviously they won't let me collect until Friday.
Need to find out if the store is opening earlier on Friday, its in a Shopping Centre that doesn't normally open until 10am.

Which to me suggests that 16/09 is either the dispatch or delivery date. Otherwise its a rather random date to include as its not 12/09 when the order was placed or 14/09 when the email was sent.

Hi guys - in my experience, have been with O2 for ages, their launch week customer experience is abysmal.
Been messed around multiple times ... if you can get the phone direct from Apple, then do it.
That said that's pretty much the case with the rest of the UK high street phone shops.

I've turned up at my local store just before opening for the 4s, 5 and 5s launch and always walked away with the handset I wanted. Problem is this time I want the 6 plus and I don't think anyone will have them in-store

They've ring-fenced the cash for both iP6 (delivery:19th) and iP6+ (delivery:2-3 weeks).
I ordered on Friday though. Can you see your order in your O2 account?
My order went through at 8:10am for the 16gb 6+ I went for this model because I figured everyone else would be opting for the 64gb, so there would be more stock left of the 16gb.
With a confirmation some 9 minutes after the official launch, I think it's a relatively safe bet that if anybody is going to get theirs first, it's those that got their order in within the same time frame as me.
I have a feeling that loads of phones are going to be delivered on the 19th and O2 are just trying to make people angry now so they'll be happy later and forget about this last few days. Trying to placate people the other way round is a lot more difficult. So, underpromise and overachieve, rather than overpromise and fail. Just a hunch.

As I've been told about 3 different things regarding delivery of my 6 Plus pre-order, I'm considering attempting to change delivery from to my house, to in-store pickup.
I've read that CPW as dealing with O2 online and over-the-phone pre-order deliveries. Are they dealing with delivery and collect in-store too? Don't want to risk any further delays on my order by switching!

Told the lady on live chat that I would order on the basis of delivery on the 19th as I leave the country soon after to get married, she went away for a minute or so and said "if you order now you will get it on the 19th". I then questioned the 2-3 weeks delivery and she said "not to worry about that and that you will get it on the 19th".
I'm not expecting it to turn up on Friday but I made sure I saved a copy of the chat and e-mailed myself a copy and will take it up with O2 if they fail to deliver on their promise.

Apparently I'm in the first wave of pre-orders.
My order will be delivered on Friday if O2 have the phones on Thursday.
Will be delivered Monday if O2 get the phones on Friday.
They are now quoting 2-3 weeks if you preorder now till launch date, and 6-7 weeks if you order on launch date onwards.
iPhone 6 plus 128GB Silver.
We shall see.....

I completed our orders at 15.26 and 15.29 on Friday, but they were only initiated online at Live chat around 14:00 ish. I'm not really optimistic for my 6+, but I think the gf's 6 could come on Fri or Mon.
