Yeah if they tell you you're getting it, they must have information that you're first in line. No way they'd lead you on at this stage.
Unless he sleeps in a room with a green android robot on the quilt cover, curtains, wallpaper etc etc....
Day before preorder day my missus went into the local O2 store and asked about the 6 plus. They said they wouldn't get any store stock until 7th October. I thought they were being a numpty so called the same store and was told the same thing. First time for 3 releases I've not been to that store to snag a phone. Was always quiet.... turn up 5 minutes before opening and if you were unlucky you'd be 4th in the queue
Does your cardboard cutout have 1GB or 2GB of RAM tho.... it's important to know!

Have been starting chats with live help all day. Kept asking them same question about what the status of my order was. All day they've been saying same thing. Until just now when they said phone is now showing waiting to dispatch. My email confirmation was 8:10 so looks like I'm getting mine on launch day.

Yip. But O2 told me that was the reservation because as this point I managed to sign the contract. Paid some time later in the afternoon.
Indeed. I was told that the pre-order was done, a device had my name on it, and I had 72 hours to complete the stuff on the email link otherwise my device would be deallocated.

Spoke with an online Chat agent but didn't really give me an answer other than "Your phones will be with you as promised and if not we will give you a reward package for any delays over 8 days" lol. Clear as mud then.

Texts seem only to be coming through for the collect in store peeps so far

It's reassuring that collect in store people can collect on the 19th. I can't believe they would let them have the phone on release day and delay deliveries to after.
I'm talking about the "phones will be dispatched ON the 19th" angle.
I can't see this being true if people who asked for the collect in store option will get them on the 19th.
Got a text too for collect in store 19th September, apologising for saying 17th September (not sure I was ever actually told 17th September)
Got text from O2 Friday just after pre ordered iPhone 6 in store to collect on the 19th from the store not had anything since then
