eh, 9 mins to open a cardboard box? mine will be open in 20 secs :)

admittedly the iphone box will be opened much slower haha

oh, maybe not, I guess it took a total of 9 mins including zapping your pic across :p

mine is still showing as picked up o2 customer location too.

Has anyone in Scotland had their DHL status change yet or are they all still stuck on that lonely truck headed north?

Hey,

Mine is now 'out for delivery' although I've no idea why they've sent it to the Glasgow Service Centre given that I live in Edinburgh, in the Leith Walk area. For what I can see from the DHL site there is an Edinburgh Delivery Centre...I really hope it makes it here before 9pm!

Have you tried clicking on your oder number once you get by the main page? Mine still says 'security check' there, but once clicked on it gives waaay more info. (Sorry that's not the most succinct sentence, my brain hasn't quite kicked into gear yet)

well hurrah! turns out they have service centre in perth and it got there all of eight minutes ago! WOOHOO!!! St Andrews is normally at the start of their runs as they come out and back from there.

Bonus!

Nightmare

My doorbell has stopped working.
Does that mean they could have been and I've missed them.
I'm going to be stuck to the window like a limpet all day now to make sure I don't miss DHL.

Well, after totally being screwed over by O2 (ordered at 0810 Monday and didn't get dispatched) I decided to walk down to my local O2 store. Got there at 0530 and there was 11 people queuing! I thought "feck this, I'm going to take a look at CPW". What a stroke of luck that was - 1 person queuing and opened an hr early at 0702! Get in!!!!!!!!

Manager and staff arrived and said they only took delivery of 22 and there was only 3 16gb versions. Lucky I was number 2 in the queue. I was out of there by 0720 and walked past the O2 shop where there was a queue of about 60 people trailing down the high street.

I hope all your deliveries turn up some folks. Despite being rather pi**ed off last night, I now see the whole web order screw up a blessing in disguise! I have a shiny new 16gb and also have a damn fine arsenal of complaints to throw at O2 which will hopefully get me some form of 'goodwill'!

Enjoy your phones when they arrive everyone!

Cheers, glanv :D

If you missed them, I'd assume they'd leave a card, though if you want to be sure, you could always give them a call.

That's quite a few, I guess they've gone before work. I'm guessing London will be the exception rather than the rule, I wonder what the queue at the Apple Store in Regent St is like.

My friend has updated to me to say that they had 50 16GB and a 100 8GB phones in that store so she's OK but the process is painfully slow and the queue is about 100m long...

Well done mate! Pleased for yer....mine is out for delivery so not too long now!

Have just checked online and at 9.02 my iPhone was changed to "out for delivery"!!!! Good Times!

Unfortunately i am at work and am not able to have any time off to get the delivery - Bad Times

Fingers crossed the delivery will come when my housemate gets back at 1.30pm.

Does anyone know what DHLs collection policy is? Would i have to wait 24hours to then collect it? Do they do saturday deliveries?

Thanks mate! After all my pessimism I have the beauty in my hands! Hope yours arrives soon. This is better than Christmas when I was 6 and got a space capsule tent!! And I thought nothing could top that!!

I'm down in Eastbourne (exciting place) and the phone isn't going out till this afternoon as I phoned the local depot to check so I am going to collect it.

It was a nice idea in theory but in practice it just occured to me I can't use it unless its activated and after I collect it I am going out - so I am bringing my laptop with me and will try and hijack someone's wi-fi to activate it.

I did call a local o2 branch and ask them if they would activate it for me - but in typical clueless fashion - they told me they can't activate the phones in store!?

If that is correct then everyone is taking them home to activate which is not what Apple wanted this time - or she is confused seriously!

Well done - Enjoy it! :D Must of been a laugh walking back past the O2 que lol!

Mine is currently showing as "Out for delivery".

I was more than a little bit surprised to get an email on Wednesday night confirming my order considering I didn't manage to get all the way through the online order process on Monday.

It was quite funny walking past and seeing everyone queue - I don't know why they didn't check CPW?? I was considering walking past with the box but thought better of it in case there was some nut job who mugged me!!
