Well my order completed by 08:10!!! and I ain't getting my tomorrow and they've taken my payment also....would agree

Unbelievable! Me too! Order completed by 0810, confirmation by 0812, called Tuesday evening to confirm everything OK - told it was - and then out of the blue a text this afternoon at 1700hrs saying my order was sucessful to be delivered on the 18th!
Well, I have booked a day off work (which is effectively worth £250 to me!) and at 1700 it is a bit too late to cancel that holiday!
Got home and called O2 straight away. Cust svc reps have been briefed extremely well on how to handle this, they provide a commentary of how it was a "pre-order", that it was first come first served and that due to very high demand I was unsuccessful. I stayed very calm and asked how come others that had ordered hrs later managed to get a successful order. They didn't really explain this and just said that they could only provide the info they had been given.
I was also given my "options":
- Continue with order and wait
- Go to store tomorrow - but have to cancel web order (it cannot be transferred to store!)
- Cancel order completely
I decided to cancel completely and was then told I would have to wait 714 days for a refund! It just gets better!
To be honest this has left such a sour taste in my mouth that I am seriously considering not even bothering with this damn phone. Throughout the call I remained amazingly calm and even said to the guy I understood it wasn't his fault but also emphasised just how badly O2 have handled this whole affair.
So what do I do now.......? For some strange reason I see myself getting up at 0400 and queuing outside my local O2 store for 2hrs - probably to be told that they have sold out or have not got any 16gb in stock!
