Image in head....fighting urge to comment......thinking of old girlfriend......fighting urge to comment.....hoping release of iBook will distract.....

When you select an iBook, the options screen now lists AppleCare first. I haven't played around with the site much lately. Has it been that way long, or just this morning?

I noticed that too. Haven´t seen it before..

Let's hope the US one goes down again soon. Isn't 7:30 Eastern time a little early for going down? I thought it was usually a little later than that?

anybody can explain why us store goes down and up?
are the new things posted on the apple stores worldwide at the same time?
in my opinion mac os x where the store sites are hosted freezed and they are restarting the system....

it's just the apple-way of doing it, nothing more. just the same answer that goes to "why doesn't apple give us clear release roadmaps?" question...

I love Apple update days...

What other online stores do you think there are out there where people sit there refreshing the page over and over feverishly until new updates are announced? :D

This is my second time being around when the stores are down. Last time was when the iMac and eMac was updated. If there is an update this time im lucky :D ;)

No, that's why you use Firefox and download the extension that automatically refreshes the page for you. Lazy man's solution!

Or you use Opera and the "reload every X seconds" option that's built-in. :D

I wish Opera was more stable, though...

Canadian store is up. Nothing new.
ALL THE EUROPEAN STORES CAN'T GO DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSINESS DAY WITHOUT THERE BEING AN UPDATE?!

*remember to take deep breaths*

Can they? (Sorry about the shouting ;) )

The Canadian store hasn't gone down at all. Still waiting for the US, Canada, and South Korea stores to go down.
I was just commenting that it was up, and there was nothing new there. Never said it went down. Just an FYI. Watching along with ya :)

Well the business day just started here on the east coast, so maybe they can. But sorry, they are pleasing the American customers this time.
