*Disclaimer Before you read... Keep in mind this is a guide. make sure you actually go to a store and try one on! If you find any of the information below doesn't apply to you or you disagree. Then guess what, welcome to the fashion world where fashion is fashion. And if it works it works. As long as you got the confidence and as long as you feel good about yourself, why not? Who cares what others think? Just get it!

For those of you that have not preorder or still having some doubts on what size you should get. Listen up!

I can sit here and talk about the golden ratio and all...

But lets make this simple...

Grab your wallet, take out a credit card, (send me a pm of the numbers) no don't, I don't need your money :p

Take out your credit card and lay it the long way across your wrist. So that the numbers are vertical, going up and down your wrist. With the last four digits of the card closes to your wrist bone and the first four digits closes to your elbow.

Heres the thing about wrist measurements talk about on many forums. Picking a watch size has nothing to do with wrist circumference. That only matters when your picking a band size. It has to do with wrist width. Everyone is not the same circumference and width being completely different to others.

So back to the Card!
Take it and lay it across your wrist.

A. Your wrist literally disappears under the credit card
B. Your wrist matches or just a tad smaller, or just a tad larger.
C. Your wrist is much larger than your credit card but at least 8-10mm or more

If you got A Then there's no way the 42mm is going to look great on you... in short, it will look like a toy is on your wrist.

If you got B Your special! Like me! You can choose! Now here is the dilemma... Do you want the "Smart Watch" look or do you want a traditional "Watch" look. The 38mm definitely is well proportioned. On the other hand, the 42mm is definitely a smart watch look. For those early adopters of smart watched that have an original pebble watch it looks like this (42mm) One thing though... If you pick the 38mm you might find the screen smaller, and want to lust over the 42mm. Don't let this discourage you! after playing with a 38 MM size watch you get really used to the size of the screen very fast! This is when you have to prioritize what you want more. Looks? (38mm) or do you want function/screen size, and possibly better battery life and don't really care that it screams "Smart Watch"

And finally if you got C The small 38mm will look tiny, go for the 42mm you'll be happy of the screen size, and possibly the battery life!

So those of you that are still undecided what do you think? Did this guide help you out? Its pretty simple when you dumb it down.

It's a "guide" I guess. But I AM interested in the "by an ACTUAL stylist" part of the topic heading. Is there a course I can sit and a diploma I can get that qualifies me as an actual stylist? I have looked on Seek.Com for a job as a stylist. None come up...

I would think any "make-up artist" can be called stylist in a certain way. Maybe it's not a classic apprenticeship but something you can become when you style people (I mean make people look better). I would say every person working for theaters or the film (movie) industry as a beautician can become a stylist if they do the "whole picture". Its a guess but it sounds right to me.

Those types of jobs usually aren't on generic websites. Stylists are usually hired by word of mouth. I've never put an ad out for the stylists I've hired on my shows or shoots. If people pay you to style them, you're a stylist. If people continue to pay you to do it, you're probably good at it.

I'm not sure if the OP is a good stylist or not (I've never worked with him) but there's no need to be an ass about a very good profession. And yes, people actually do and can go to school for it. People win awards for it. Every TV show, movie, print ad, commercial, window display, etc etc that had a person with clothes on had a fashion stylist (sometimes under a different title) working on it.

I was not trying to be an ass. I simply am interested in what makes THIS person, an actual stylist apparently, worthy of having this post as a Sticky. The credit card thing.... How is it factual? Or is it, like, simply an opinion?

You should probably reread the first paragraph disclaimer of the OP. And then read it again. And then maybe again.

That's alright. Some people have thought she was my daughter when we were walking back to them. :/

When we started dating I was only 5'5" so we didn't see the huge disparity coming

2.5 roughly. 14.5-17/18

I remember one summer was over an inch a month. It was brutal growing pains!

So to topic my watch shipped. But then ups had some kind of mechanical failure.

I tried on the 38 and it looks ok. My gf thinks it looks fine but I feel the 42 will look better.

I'll post pics too when it's finally here.

The 38 fits her very well. It's actually not big on her at all.

Oh and she's absolutely enamored with it though she really has no tech in her at all and hasn't even learned how to use it yet. I think she just loves having quick notification awareness..... And Mickey Mouse tapping his toe.

I said I'd post back when I got mine so here's a shot. 42mm with the s/m band on the second to last notch

Fits like a pretty normal watch. As I thought it is a lot smaller than I originally thought it was. Not a bad thing as the way it fits it could blend in for my frame into a more formal attire without drawing attention

I Have a 150mm wrist. I fall into category “A”.

Went with a 42. Might be a bit big on me, but rather have larger screen and bigger battery.

Sucks I’m limited on the bands due to the wrist size though.

But screen size/battery > bands
