I am glad you could get your for $800. I added AC+ and with sales tax it came to $976. And I will wear it with my Adams costume or with a suit because I do not care about others perceptions of my appearance nor my cloths ...

wasn’t factoring in appecare. Just that I’m not paying that much unless I’m using every day

I understand the question. I have also wondered… I think it will be just fine. My real worries are “will my sport, Milanese, leather Apple bands match that bigger watch or will just look too skinny and ridiculous”. But I guess there maybe another thread about this 😅

Have definitely seen an increase in the number of people wearing e.g. Garmin Fenix watches at work over the past
few years with suits, not to mention a significant proportion of people who wear aluminium Apple Watches. Will never be the most congruous choice, but I think it’s perfectly acceptable.

The issue will be the thickness and how well it fits underneath the shirt sleeve. I used to wear a Panerai and it was thick and did fit ok under shirt sleeves, which makes me think this will be OK too. Many dress shirts have two sets of buttons on the cuff, so you have to use the outer buttons for the Watch to fit.

One can probably pull it off but i think it will look off due to the height and bulk of the watch

Just slap a more business style band on it and will be good to go. Leather or metal.

Or don’t and fakkk anyone else’s feelings about your watch.

Me, personally, I’m gonna wear the hell out of it for any occasion. Work, sports, runs to the supermarket, weddings and funerals… oh and can’t forget Thanksgiving at grandma’s.

It’s still a well crafted Titanium watch with a couple obnoxious orange markings. No biggie.

everyone else in this thread is taking the position that appearances don’t matter. But the question itself presumes otherwise: it’s clear OP does care what his appearance says about him, or he wouldn’t have asked. (My own view as someone who has to wear suits often is that it matters to the extent the opinions of your colleagues/clients matter. People judge you by how you look. Sorry, people are shallow, and that’s life. If you’re a professional wearing a suit at your place of work, yes your appearance does matter or you wouldn’t be wearing the suit in the first place.)

So with that said: sorry, it doesn’t go with a suit. It looks like what it is, which is a sport watch, not a professional watch.

Personally I think it is really fine. Need to see it in real but I believe it will be ok. A suit with a kind of rugged watch does not shock me at all. I even believe it is stylish. Remember 10 or 15 years ago people wearing sneakers with a suit. They were a few and mostly fashion addicts. Now lots of people do it. And a watch is more discret. Regarding the cuff I also think it will be ok. Under the sleeve or not. Look at these more luxury type watches and how big they can sometimes be… I remember being like “what the…” when seeing these big watches on people wrist. Same thing now I find it cool. Are you shocked when you see this?
