f I want an Apple //c, I can get one on eBay for $10-$25. The fact that your stuff is in like new condition and boxed might make it a bit more valuable to a collector, but there just aren't that many collectors of obsolete tech.

Very few collectors, but even fewer complete packaged computers means a lot more rather than a bit more valuable.

Not many people actually have the inclination let alone space to keep all the original empty packaging after opening their new purchase. Situations like the OP's are usually purchases that weren't actually used/wanted much and so the packaging was re-used before it could be thrown out to pack it all up again and put it into storage. Which in turn means the computer itself is usually in near new unused condition as well.

It's used, it's yellowed from sitting out as a lot of these machines are. But it works fine and is just cool. I have never seen such an old Mac with the original plastic and foam.
