Well, just bought a blue Verizon iPhone 5c from a private party. Inserted my AT&T SIM card, and voila', AT&T LTE!!!

I looking at buying a Verizon iPhone 5C!

Here more details:
Network Generation 2G, 3G, 4G
Network Technology GSM / EDGE / CDMA EV-DO Rev. A and Rev. B / UMTS / HSPA+ / DC-HSDPA / LTE
Band GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900; CDMA EV-DO Rev. A and Rev. B 800/1700/1900/2100; UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA 850/900/1700/1900/2100; LTE 1/2/3/4/5/8/13/17/19/20/25

Will this Verizon iPhone 5C work with T-Mobile, AT&T carriers without any limitations especially as far as LTE is concern?

Thanks.
Yes! I'm on AT&T and just bought a blue Verizon 5c yesterday from a private owner. He gave me the IMEI and went online and did a check before mtg him to make sure the phone wasn't blacklisted or currently tied to an account. Before I gave the dude my $$, I took my AT&T SIM out of my AT&T iP5 and inserted it in Verizon iP5c, and bingo, AT&T LTE popped up on the screen. The guy said that he also had cleared Find My iPhone, as well.

Good Luck!!!

By the way, what website did you go on to check the imei? I feel like every site is a lie and tells you the opposite so you can waste money an purchase their service.

Verizon iphone 5s not unlocked

Hi

I have a verizon cdma iphone 5s , i tried putting in a tmobile sim card and got no service.
I called tmobile and they checked with apple and said it is still locked by verizon.

I just called verizon and they said their iPhones 5s are blocked for other providers within America but reopen to international simcards.

The Verizon 5c model I just bought from a private owner works with my AT&T SIM.

Latest I've heard:

Verizon Blacklisted smartphones no longer work on any GSM networks in USA.

This is because Verizon is not only blacklisting the ESN but also the IMEI #'s as majority of the new Verizon smartphones use IMEI's rather than ESN/MEID #'s.

I have a iPhone 5c for sprint one of my buddies bought he wanted to use this with at&t is it possible to convert?

I'm about to pull the trigger on a gold iPhone 5s on Verizon. I am currently an AT&T customer and plan to use it on AT&T. The store that has stock (TWO UNITS!) will ONLY sell them today as online with instore pickup. The store is 3 hours away so that's my only option. I've contacted verzion and have a copy of the chat, they say I can purchase the phone plus the ETF and be done with my contract with no other fees (if I do it within a couple days or sooner).

Am outside US and I have a 5S that rejected all local SIM cards. Turns out it was locked

I didn't think Verizon LTE phones were locked, unless they have been blacklisted for non-payment or reported as stolen, that kind of thing. I thought that was part of the spectrum purchase agreement.

I have a 5s that I switch back and
forth between Verizon and att by just changing the sim card. I bought a Verizon phone and put it on att to start with, just recently did the Verizon service to see if it would work. It works on LTE on both with two seperate numbers of course.

Same happened to my iPhone 5C 32 GB. Got a gift two days back from my friend who lives in US. According to him the phone is linked and came from carrier Verizon US but the device is still locked. I tried all the carrier but sadly none of them showing to work. Dunno what to do?

8 hours precisely and $35 later and my device is free

Yes we all know the hardware Unlocks but if Verizon 5S / 5C come by default Unlocked then why use this X-Sim / R-Sim ??

Are there any specific models which are allowed to use on unofficial carriers or all the models comes FU ?

Not the X-SIM interposer but their unlocking services
My 5S came from Verizon locked and I posted the evidence from TWO sites; chronicunlocks and X-sim.me.

It's funny, my Verizon iPad can produce ATT LTE with the ATT sim. But if I put the same ATT sim inside my Verizon iPhone 5S, I only get 4G. No LTE even though I'm in the coverage area. Are the ATT iPad sims lock to prevent LTE on other devices?
