Why is it that the UK always gets an awful deal when it comes to Mac pricing.

Snow Leopard is £7.43 more expensive in the UK than the USA.

What's the deal?

I've emailed Steve to see what's up.

I'll post more as soon as I have a reply.
If you're that bothered about it, why dont you complain to every other company that overcharges over the US pricing? If your still so worked up about it move to the US. If thats too much of a commute, buy windows 7...thats definatley cheaper....oh wait its not its about £60 more. If thats too sarcastic for you get Linux. Its free.

Now while Tesco, Sainsburys and Jamie Oliver are busy on TV convincing you that you can feed a family on a fiver… what does that £4.14 that Apple is ripping you off with actually buy you these days? Not much.

There are far worse rip-offs in the UK worth complaining about.

Apple's pricing really isn't up there with them.

Would be curious to see if you get any reply from Jobs Inc.

That is not a lot of money, but thats not the point. Do all the taxes/VAT/importing taxes make up for the money that it costs in pounds?

The price here in NZ for snow leopard is $59 inc GST, Doing a currency conversion and adding GST Tax on top comes to only $47!!!

Suppose we should be used to the extra mark-up apple NZ makes over the US set prices.
