Your telling me that a power connection that is only connected by contact on two points (because the solder broke) doesn't heat up to ridiculous levels? The heat was the only reason I knew anything was wrong at first!

I never ever leave it plugged if I leave the house, not even overnight, since this is not the first story I hear about a magunsafe. The risk is very serious.
This is kinda scary, although if apple would give me a macbook pro for this happening to me, than it might make me a bit happier, just as long as nothing else was wrecked in my house.
