Yeah, it's funny how everyone loves to say "read the dev team blog for the latest" yet the dev team's blog hasn't been updated in a MONTH and even at that they only update it every month or two.
My 90 yr old grandma blogs more than than the dev team!

I'm not sure why the whole Fan club is here today.....
However...their blog is updated every time there is something important to report (They are not looking for attention or anything else so no need to have a post everyday) and the comments keep getting updated almost on real time.

Funny, I guess they prefer to bicker and tweet inaccurate information as compared to posting it to their blog.
Yeah, as you said, when something is new it's posted, and things in their camp have slowed to a crawl. Android has already taken over, hopefully Apple will wake up and empower users to have more freedom to use the devices they make and the whole JB will become a non issue. Either way, not having a jailbreak and Apple continuing their ways only hurts iPhone users.

geohot is the only one that makes it easy to jailbreak, like bella said what the point in the dev team having a blog, the redsnow website doesent even have redsnow on it, there a bunch of muppets that take the piss

I have one alongside my iPhone.
a) it's easier to hack because Google doesn't fight wars against it's users
b) no need to hack because half of the reasons people hack are already natively supported on android

Yeah, as much as I LOVE iPhone, 2011 is the year Android becomes household. They have all the momentum and Apple has lost. iPhone isn't going anywhere, but Android is going way up!

Clearly you don't understand how people buy technology, lol.
i agree there will be some consumers who stick to iPhone, just like Palm kept some of their users when they went from gold to garbage.... but at the end of the day people want an experience that gives them cutting edge, and the latest and greatest options.
It's pointless to argue with a fanboy so I'm not going to continue, but just watch the market. Android has gained the market share in 2 years that it took Apple 4 years to grab.... but whatever.... keep telling yourself people are sheep and can't accept a better OS choice.

Argument rendered useless because the jailbreak isn't 100% working. It's a beta and redsn0w has asked people NOT to use it, only for testing purposes.
This statement is actually completely useless. We are arguing about jailbreaking and you brought up unlocking. Geohot doesn't unlock, he jailbreaks. Do people seriously know how to argue these days? I mean come on. Think before you guys speak, it makes you look wiser and less immature.

Yeah not sure why people defend causes that aren't relevant ... yes there was a time when the Dev Team was on top of things. Yes there was a time when they did good. Just because someone did something good in the past, doesn't mean they're on top of things today. No need for people to get defensive and put others down.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but doesn't **** like this come out on twitter or whatever all the time? It seems like every other day somebody is saying x is coming out soon. I realize that the dev, but, its not like we haven't been let down before. And before you all jump down my throat saying why don't I make a JB, or whatever... well, I'm not desperately asking for one. Release it when its ready. If its not, then don't. I really like my 4.1 Limerain JB, and I'm really looking forward to the 4.3 JB, but, I'm kinda over all the continuous drama. Eh, maybe I'm just in a weird mood.
