Wow. 15 million dollars (!!!) per episode for another run of the mill post-apocalyptic cliched TV-show. Where did all the imagination go? If you gonna make a sci-fi series with that kind of money, at least try to come up with an interesting premise first. The TV-industry today is overrun with lazy and mediocre scriptwriters, who lack the talent and the brains to come up with something truly exciting (but have the right politics). But, I'm sure there'll be lots of "diversity" and "inclusion" in the show. Also, Jason Mamoa is NOT a main protagonist-type actor, even though he ticks off the BAME-box.

Thanks, but no thanks.

You haven’t even seen one episode of the show. Are you psychic or something?

I was a bit tongue in cheek there, but just look at the synopsis. This type of plot has already been done to death by dozens and dozens of TV-series from Netflix, HBO Nordic and the like. There are so many fascinating sci-fi stories that could be told, but most stories these days are about a bunch of people running back and forth in some post-apocalyptic world (with or without zombies), because of some deadly (zombie-)virus. It's lazy, dumb and unimaginative writing IMO.

Again, you have no idea if the writing is lazy, dumb or unimaginative. You haven’t seen the show. You are judging it from the synopsis. Figuratively judging the book by its cover.

Sounds like so many other movies but just change out the disaster.

I would like to see a TV Series about Humans who leave Earth because we scorched the surface with Global Warming, so we go to another habitable planet and try to make a new start, only to find out that the planet was once occupied by a race similar to our own who had left the planet we now occupy for the exact same reasons we left Earth centuries ago, and they have now returned. It would make a good synopsis
You might but I don't we have enugh global warming/climate change evrywhere else, but hey people ar different.

I have not read all the messages yet so if this has been already said....

But Netflix started out as online blockbuster. A tech company playing a logistics company that then broke into online delivery pioneering streaming , shifting away from having to mange and deliver physical inventory. Then they shifted from being the middle man for media companies into a media company changing the movie industry business.

You dont think all these stupid "reports" and articles aren't some form of advertising? It wont launch for months true but I heard about stranger things 3 since the last one ended. You think they should just wait till day of to advertises?
It's not paid advertising and Apple doesn't control the message. I've heard many negative things about the new Apple TV + lineup already. Do you think Apple wants that out there?

Besides, there is no call to action because there is no service to subscribe to yet. Unless there is a clear path or action for people hearing these "ads" to take, they are mostly worthless.
