Got this this morning and I've been playing it all day on both 360 and DS :)

DS version is amazing! It's the full viva game and it's far better than dare I say Animal Crossing : Wild Wood.....

Trouble in Paradise on the 360 is equally as amazing, and easily the best looking game personally i have seen on the console. The new garden tools are great and the menu system is easier to navigate.

I really hope that RARE have a major hit on their hands as they both versions of the game scream great quality - unfortunately I suspect that despite critical acclaim - the game will fall on many a deaf ear and dismissed just as quickly as the first game was. (Though i do hope not).

Wow I totally forgot Pocket Paradise was coming out :D, I'm definitely checking it out someday.

You should correct this;
"***This game is already available on Xbox 360 but due to hardware differences it's substantially different from the 360 release, whether it's worth purchasing over the 360 version or re-purchasing it again for Wii is yet to be seen."

How about this;

***This game is already available on Xbox 36 360, but due to a limited budget, small development team, and Capcom's previous success on minimal effort Wii ports, this game is being made with as little effort as possible to get it onto the Wii for a quick chash-in.

The Wii's lesser hardware has nothing to do with the stark contrast between this game and its 360 version. Anyways, crap in crap out.

Sorry, I'm touchy on this, especially with Capcom's PR touting how the Wii version is "accessible"! :rolleyes: :eek:

Finally we get a blue game :p:)

It's Rock Band 2 which I'm not too much of a fan of but hey, it has a 94 on Metacritic which is awesome.

Spore turned out to be somewhat of a disappointment (85 is not bad but not great though I didn't like it much personally) and Mercenaries 2 got downgraded to orange because it now has 74 on Metacritic, another big disappointment (though I haven't tried it personally yet). The Force Unleashed has a 72, disappointing as well, I added the 360 score and not the PS3 one (which is lower) because it has 18 reviews opposed to 8 so it seems fairer to include the 360 score, both versions are identical anyways so it makes no sense. The Wii version is still not rated.

We might get 2 more blue games tomorrow though, Crysis Warhead already has a 9.4 on IGN and Pure seems to be getting good reviews (I've seen two 9.0s already).

Scores updated as well, most games actually dropped a point or two, as always, corrections are encouraged,

An adder for some people: Locks Quest for the DS. It's a kind of RPG/tower defense game made by the dudes who did Drawn to Life. I played it at PAX and decided to pick it up since it's only $30 and so far I really like it. Uses the touch screen perfectly, lots of depth to the building of your defences, combat with Lock himself keeps you on your toes and while the character design isn;t outstanding, the graphics are VERY well done as is the music.

So far the metacritic is 82.7 although there are only 3 reviews. Bozon from IGN said it's among the best DS games this year.

^ I'm hearing good things. I didn't even know it was coming out until a saw an in-store ad at Rogers Video of all places. So far, mid 80's on metacritic. Reviews make it sound a bit archaic but it looks damn good... *sob* more money

Damn if it weren't for GameSpy's 70 Crysis Warhead would've been a blue game ;) but 87 is good enough.

Pure also has a very favorable 85, can't wait to get my hands on both games.

Soon as I get a new Mac or PC I'll probably get Crysis and Warhead on Steam. And that Stalker: Clear Sky (or whatever its called). Does sound nifty and hopefully both games are better than their tech demo-esque predecessors.

^ Whens the release date? Eurogamer doesn't have that info.

Also 8 tracks ? That's a bit tight isn't it ? However I will get it especially if they keep it under 15 Euro.

I'm wondering if they'll release a special edition version of it at some point with the extra downloable content (which is inevitable) and stick it on BR. I much prefer to own 'physical' copies of my games (hence importing SIREN) unless they are small or very cheap downloads.

I see an Octo-Core MacPro and Bootcamp in your future.

Anyway, I'm most looking forward to the new Tales of Symphonia game for the Wii

Regarding hot games, I'm really liking Left For Dead.

Could I make a suggestion for the format of the list? I find all the categories a bother to sort through especially when 360 titles are found in multiple locations, like a title that is both 360/PS is there, but it's not in the 360 section.

My suggestion which would be very easy to navigate would be to use a single list with a platform ID in parenthesis following each title. My second section would be to list games in genre sections, FPS, RTS, RPG, etc.

IDs = PC, 360, PS3, Wii.

Example:
FPS
Left 4 Dead - Valve - 1st Person Survival Shooter (360, PC) - November 4.

Feel free to ignore suggestion if you don't like it! Thanks. :)

It's not a bad idea but I formatted it so that owners of more than one platform can know all their options, it's also for potential console buyers knowing which exclusives they'll get. If I listed in each column all the games for the console you'd see the same game 4 times in the list and you'd have a hard time comparing lists for games that are available on both so I find it better to list only put exclusives in the 360/PS3/whatever column and multiplatform games in a multiplatform column.

Also, I would add XBLA/PSN titles but there doesn't seem to be a reliable place where I can track all the games and their release dates. If someone would like to do that separately then I'll be glad to add it to the main post.

Added scores for Pure and Crysis Warhead, pretty good ones too, also, Warhammer is out today as is the Enhanced Edition of The Witcher, Liner Rider 2 Unbound and Starwars The Force Unleashed.

BTW, if anyone is wondering why I'm linking to the 360 metacritic page of multiplatform games I'm just doing that for games that really are identical on both platforms because the 360 page has more reviews counted, therefore, a more accurate score.

Only $20 though. Besides, they will add expansion packs and such for more content later.

Sony REALLY wants to give the finger to EB I suppose.

A single list with platform designations would inform them of their options and exclusives. Anyway, carry on. :)

Wipeout on the PS1 was great. I'd like to try this new version.

I'm going to get the Dragon Quest game after I finish up my current workload -- hopefully this week. I'm looking forward to this type of game right now. The lack of touch control bothers me though. Why aren't they supported? :\

If all goes well, by the time I finish it, Dead Space PC should be available to give me a heart attack! Oo

I completely agree. Which is why I went out and bought Pulse and Pure on the PSP, ever driven a car with banana peels for tyres on ice? Almost uncontrollable if you've played any other speed racer.
Something about rose tinted glasses I think.
