I wonder if this will be all models or just the 16" / higher end 14". Imagine the starting price will go beyond $1800 if it's all.

If they ship it with mini LED for who are those rumoured 14" and 16" OLED displays that went into mass production?

My wish is that "unleashed" and the POV of stars flying by at warp speed to represent Apple Glass (glasses)... 🤞🧞‍♀️

They should. The Macbook Pro hardware is really bad next to the M1 iPad Pro. The only thing saving the MBP is that it runs OS X (which the M1 iPad Pro is technically also able to run, but is not allowed by Apple).

Earlier rumor stated the 14" would start at either $1899 or $1999 compared to the current $1799 for the Intel 13.3" 4-port. Said rumor also stated the 16" would hold the line at $2399 to start.

I'm fine with $1999 for the 14" considering the upgrades in CPU, GPU and display over the 13.3". My plan is to use the 14" to replace my 2018 12.9" iPad Pro and 2017 15.4" MacBook Pro. However, if they can hold the line on the 16" at $2399, I might just upgrade to it.

They're bringing back magsafe and the SD slot?

How courageous of them.

I am still amazed. Test after test. My 16GB M1 MBA using FCPx DESTROYS my 24-core Gen3 Thread-Ripper with it's RTX3090 in AE when exporting H.264 1080p/30 videos. It's not even remotely close. AE is using 90% of my GPU during the export too. So, I mean, WOW? The MBA finishes the export in around 12min. Meanwhile it took AE nearly TWO-HOURS.

I am gonna say these new MacBook Pros will take the position of existing Intel machines in the lineup. Starting £1799/$1799. And if 120Hz do come (which I think we will - Ross Young is good) then its a big win!
