Sorry to hear about the decline problems. However, Apple typically doesn't charge your credit card until they are actually building the BTO. I ordered mine last week Friday. It got charged on my credit card on Tuesday and shipped out today. Expecting it on Monday!

Well, I ordered mine on the 13th. They *should've* charged it a few days after that, you'd think that's when they'd start processing it, and then it would ship on Monday or Tuesday, and it'd arrive today. Because Apple was declining the payments constantly, they didn't actually charge it until yesterday. I'm supposed to expect mine no later than Tuesday. So, you ordered yours three days after I did and are getting it a day prior.

Speaking of declining payments... Does anyone know how long it takes for Apple to refund (or stop holding) the amount of a charge?

I ordered a 27" last Wednesday and canceled my order the next day, a week ago on Thursday. There's still a "Pending" transaction on my CC for the amount of the purchase. It would be nice if they'd let go of the hold on that money lol.

I ended up reordering the same machine on Sunday, but had to use a different CC because of the hold for the first order.

Not sure if it's the same for you but in the UK a pending charge will drop off after about 5-7 days if the payment is nor requested. The seller can request cancellation I believe so the amount will no longer be held. Perhaps Apple will do this.

Hold steady mate, it'll be all the more sweeter once it arrives! I'm still constantly amazed at this gorgeous screen every time I go work for a while at another non-retina machine, even for a few minutes, then sit back down in front of mine.

Thankfully, I found someone to handle it. They assured me this is "unusual" (Which, it seems like they're right here. Others, like your own, seem to have arrived on time, so I was just one of the unlucky ones) and it was eventually shipped on Friday. Based on the tracking information, it should definitely arrive on Monday! :D

Sweet! finally, a Monday worth looking forward to!
