Yeeeah, @gilles_polysoft hasn’t checked in here since May, hasn’t updated his site in almost three months, hasn’t replied to any contact form submissions, emails, or texts, apparently hasn’t shipped any more products or refunded anybody in the interim, though still finds a bit of time to be semi-active on Twitter

Pretty sure he’s given up on this whole endeavour and is hoping it all just goes away somehow??
If anybody's morbidly curious about the state of Polysoft… I filed a SignalConso fraud control complaint against them on August 5th and received a pretty boilerplate reply back on August 31st:
Bonjour, Je suis désolé pour mon retard à fabriquer les produits et les expédier. Je reconnais également avoir des centaines de mails non répondus J'ai eu de sérieux soucis de santé qui ont amplifié mon retard. Je contacte [MrCoBalt] directement pour voir avec lui la solution la plus adaptée.
So, all the greatest hits: general apologies about the delays, serious health problems, hundreds of unread emails he's not replying to.

That last sentence though… I'll give everybody one guess if since then he's actually "contacted me directly" about "the most suitable solution"… 🙄

Oh and there's also this part which must be a required part of the SignalConso form the company responds to?
With its response, the company committed to considering your report. It made the following commitment:
Je vais procéder à une réparation ou au remplacement du produit défectueux
Quite the commitment to say you'll "repair or replace the defective product" when said product has never even been produced or shipped 😑

Anyhoo, if you paid Polysoft with a Visa then quoting Visa's Section 13.1 "Merchandise and Services Not Received" at your bank is going to be your best bet at this point; my order status at Polysoft just flipped to "SEPA Dispute" this morning and I couldn't be happier.

A month on and whilst my Mac Studio storage is working well, still no refund from Fangyuan for the kit I returned.

They are asking me to cancel my return request, but there's no way to do this within Aliexpress and their customer service team are telling me I can't cancel it and the seller is in breach of T&Cs by asking me to do this.
