UPS Begins Confirming April 24 Apple Watch Pre-Order Delivery for Some Customers

If I don't get my confirmation by tomorrow.... I'm going right into my local UPS distribution center just like this...

For those of us worrying in the UK, I think it's because we are a tiny country so it's easy to ship things next day here. Those of us who are going to get them on Friday should see our current status at "preparing to dispatch". It will probably progress overnight or early tomorrow.

Mine's a 42 SS with classic buckle, email arrived at 08:04 BST, and says "preparing to dispatch".

Does anyone know if Apple uses UPS or FedEx (or perhaps another provider) for Canadian deliveries?

Just means you're trading convenience, for the risk that you might get home and your package is stolen. I'm waiting for that thread in the next few days now....

You can not pre sign for anything 1000 dollars or more. It's considered high value and needs to be hand delivered. Unless of course ups does not know the value from

Yes, AT&T sucks on the iPhone delivery. I used to have it delivered to work but AT&T only lets you ship to you billing Address now. I may change my billing address to my work one for the next iPhone launch. Luckily my Apple Watch is coming to work. :)

I actually ordered a green Sport one, but after the try-on appointment, I dislike the look of it on my wrist. I think I am going to post an ad on Craigslist to see if anyone who ordered a 42mm SS wants to trade. If worst comes to worst, I will just keep it till the other order arrives in June.

I am an :04 baby too. Had the information I scrupulously entered in the system and checked the day before populated, I might have been an :02. As it is, I am in the 4-6 week group. No movement on my SG Sport but the charger should be here this week.

Meanwhile I talked to apple and they said that cards aren't being charged until they ship, which is leading me to think that the farther you are from a distribution center, the earlier you are being charged. I know from past experience my orders go from the closest main distribution center directly to my house with no layover, so I'm thinking I may not even see a charge until Thursday or even Friday.

My order has said "preparing for shipment" since Monday. I called Apple on Tuesday and they said the charge (Apple Financing) for my watch went through on Monday.

I think it will be sometime in June at the earliest to see that happens. All the children have been hard at work to produce the watches (j/k)

Where are you located, I'm starting to believe there is a pattern for the SG in California? Most of my friends here in California have NOT seen anything yet.
 
I live about 4 hours from Mt. Juliet in Tennessee and I have a delivery date from UPS for 4/24. I ordered a 42mm Sport w/green band, and a 38mm Sport w/white band. Called UPS and they confirmed that they are not in possession of the packages yet. This is the first time  has ever shipped anything via UPS to me. Usually, it's FedEx.

Anyone know any possibilities on why it hasn't processed yet? in a perfect world it'd be here on friday... i can hope..

What is SG? We're in Cupertino, CA ( HQ) confirmation at 12:02 and 12:05am.

38mm Watch Edition, White Sport Band
42mm Watch Edition, Black Classic Buckle

Card was charged Monday. Both changed to Preparing for Shipment.

I have a MyUPS account, but shows nothing pending. And FedEx won't let me change the date.

OMG... This is so stressful... LOL

Any news regarding shipments in Pennsylvania? I ordered a 42mm SS with a black sport band and shortly afterward a 38 mm sport with a white sport band. Both initial orders were "4/24 - 5/8". Despite ordering the 42mm SS first, it is still listed as processing items and the sport is listed as preparing for shipment. No charges on credit card for either. I'm starting to have my doubts for this Friday
