The problem is that if you use an original Apple box, shippers will know that there is an Apple product inside, unless it's put inside of another brown box. There are a lot of people who don't like Apple and will sabotage the box. A friend of mine told me that some of the guys he used to work with would intentionally drop boxes from trucks if they had an Apple logo on them. There was no way to trace who actually caused the damage and they thought it was funny because they believed that Apple users were dorks.
