UPS leaving Apple Watches w/o getting a signature.

Just took delivery of a new shiny Nike+ series 3 and I signed. Have always had to sign with DHL but never have I been asked to show ID. But obviously I am the right person since they call me first and then we agree on a pickup point, home or work usually.

That would be fraud. The carrier can ask you for a copy of the police report you would have filed if it were stolen. If you at all claimed it was stolen then they could insist you file the police report. Filing a false police report is a felony. If you declined to file a false police report then the carrier could sue you for damages to their reputation. Good job you did the 'right thing' by doing nothing.

ThAts just so wrong, you can’t file a stolen report with the police because you don’t even know you had. I guess I can pay my rent by just leaving money outside the office of the apartment manager, and when they ask for the rent I just say I put it there must of been stolen, go file a police report,lol
