Same here; mine doesn't show that it'll be delivered today but the last scan is that it's at one of the local UPS hubs here in the Atlanta area (Hapeville, GA). That was time-stamped just less than 2 hours ago. Hapeville is literally a 20 min drive from my house so I'm betting strongly that it'll get to my door today.

Got the Saturday email like you all however, even though the package is at the UPS center near my house, UPS is telling me that they're delivering it Monday.
Interesting. I really hope the person you spoke with is wrong.
How did it manage to get scanned there if it's closed? Does your tracking show it'll now be Monday delivery or did you speak with someone at UPS who told you that? Just curious.
My customer center isn't open on Saturdays but they are working, mine said Monday delivery and then updated about half hour ago saying out for delivery.
Well, my tracking just updated again reflecting Monday delivery now. Why the hell would UPS notify Apple that we would receive Saturday deliveries if they they're really had no intention to? My only hope for Saturday delivery at this point is that maybe UPS' systems are just defaulting to 'next business day' protocol but in reality, our phones are being loaded on Saturday delivery trucks. I have seen UPS trucks in my community many times in the past so I'm clinging to a sliver of hope that it'll show up.

Mine just showed up... ups tracking didn't update to delivery. So there is hope for others!
According to UPS, their counter is closed, but warehouse is open. The shipping container is there, but nobody to sort the items in it. My UPS app shows the Monday delivery.
;I think UPS is creating excuses for their blunder on the shipments from Apple's factory in China. I get an email last night from Apple that my watch will be delivered today Saturday the 24 and they apologies for the delay. And now when I check on the status the package has landed at the destination Hub but again delayed because of Maintenance issues ? I think UPS did F'd up the shipping and Apple is doing their best to accommodate us with resolving UPS's blunder. I doubt it if I'll get it today hopefully on Monday...

mine arrived in state (CA) about an hour ago, but is showing another mechanical delay (broken down trucks i guess!) but is showing its due for delivery today..... at this point i wont believe it till its in my hand
but i cant really complain, right after my order Apple quoted October 4-10 delivery so they are well ahead of that date.

I think with all of the false UPS statuses we've all received over the last 3-4 days, it's safe to say their systems are completely hosed. I wouldn't trust what the latest UPS status says for your delivery. I have a feeling you'll get your stuff today if you received Apple's email last night apologizing about the delays and that i'll be there today.

This is so stupid it says landed but mechanical error so it will arrive after delivery time . By all of these responses from you guys this obviously is bull . On the phone w ups I heard the sender did not pay for sat delivery . If this is the reason for no delivery after an email from apple saying there is on sat ....
They were wrong indeed, called them after the tracking updated to Monday to ask what was going on. They told me my shipping method didn't include Saturday delivery and that it will be delivered on Monday. However, now its on the truck and out for delivery! I seriously hope this isn't another mistake haha.
Just received a shipping delay e-mail from UPS. Mechanical breakdown in Ontario (like others). I called UPS, I inquired as to if/when I should expect the package, they transferred me to their "iPhone Department" and I spoke with someone close to the hub. They said I couldn't pick it up in Ontario but it will be available after 10:30am on Monday at my local hub (will call). So far, so good. Apple originally quoted the 26th of September (ordered on 9th @ midnight) so this is slightly ahead of the original schedule, even if it took UPS a week to get it here.
This morning, my UPS tracking page was updated to say Monday delivery, even though I had received the message from Apple confirming Saturday delivery. I called in to UPS Customer Service prepared to ask if I could pick it up myself since it shows that it's at the local sort facility. She put me on hold and confirmed with Dispatch that my package is indeed already loaded on a truck for delivery today!!!
The interesting thing was that when I first called in and told the first person what I was tracking, they put me on hold to send me to a direct line with a group they set up to handle these iPhone issues. Apparently they know they screwed the pooch royally on this one and are working to salvage the situation as best they can.
