UPS Tracking Numbers Start Trickling Out to Apple Watch Customers

Calm down everyone. If you haven't gotten confirmation yet it means the label hasn't been created.

It's also possible that those of us who haven't seen any movement are having ours delivered by FedEx.

I wouldn't be concerned until end of day tomorrow if at all.
 
Please Apple, us folks who ordered a SS Watch with black sport band are still waiting for our statuses to be change from processing!
 
Yes, finally! I've only been waiting 7 and 1/2 months to get my hands on one and it's almost time! This will be the longest 3 days of my life! ;)

That isn't true at all. I've ordered every iPhone on day 1. A couple of years ago I got a notice that it was shipped and received the delivery from UPS about 2 hours later.

Another time I actually had the phone in my hand when I got an email telling me it had shipped.

I don't worry about it anymore. It only takes 12 hours to go from anywhere in the US to your local truck that will make the delivery.
 
same here

Was able to get my tracking info last night. I logged into UPS my choice and selected tracking, entered my phone number in reference and saw the tracking. Funny how it states delivery for today. I knew it wasn't true. I am just happy I got confirmation that I am getting mine on Friday.
 
Cue the "I hate the world and everybody in it because I didn't get my Apple thingy first" crowd.
 
Guys dont overestimate Apple's server. They always lag like hell especially for these pre-orders. Since Apple wont need extra watches to stock in-store, most of pre-orders from day 1 will be arrive on friday.
 
Does this mean the watches are back in Anchorage for the next wave of updates

Slow news day, eh MacRumors? This is, what, the third article you've written about Apple Watches starting to ship out to customers?
 
Mine will ship before it says it will.

When I ordered, at like 3:10 am on the 10th, which was as soon as the site started working, since I live in Maryland, that would be ten minutes after it went on sale. Anyway, it says 4 - 6 weeks for shipping. But, when I look at my order on Apples site, it says Delivers: May 13 - May 27 by Standard Shipping. My dumb ass wishes I had gotten like, the fastest shipping I could. But, it does not matter. If it were here on the 13th, that would be great. Three months to the day after my 30th birthday. haha I've never had a girlfriend, Brain injury in 03, legally blind, can't drive. I sit and write. Do, the watch would be something new and exciting. :D

As someone hoping to get mine on Friday, every piece of information is exciting.
 
If anyone doubted the public interest in Apple Watches, the fan forum articles should easy any concerns people have. If your Apple Watch moves even one metre across the floor, there will be many articles written about it. Every single minute step in the process is being analysed in detail. That shows a popular product at least a portion of the fanbase has gone crazy over.

Will the more reasonable public buy the watch in enough numbers? Soon we shall find out.

Not entirely true ... with one of my iPhones and an iPad order I never got a tracking number. It just showed up on launch day.

There are many people this has happened to, and I imagine it will happen again.
 
Ugh, adding insult to injury, my 42mm Aluminum with Blue Sport Band is "Still Processing" with 4/24-5/8 dates. Meanwhile - they are handing those exact models out to developers and shipping them out ASAP. What, do you have too many, Apple? And you can't even update my status?! :mad:

Also... I know how stupid and entitled this whole thing is. But after the MacBook Retina fiasco in Canada - where we still don't even have DEMO models let alone anything shipping, I was hoping the Apple Watch would be slightly better, especially since I ordered at like 3:03am.
 
Sooooooooooo Jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine is still 4-6 week or end of May, so I wont be getting any email any time soon.:(
