UPS Tracking Numbers Start Trickling Out to Apple Watch Customers

1 out of 2 of mine is preparing for shipment (Card Charged), the other is still processing.

I ordered both seperately at 3:01 EST. Ship date for both 24/4-8/5.

It looks like anything Space Grey hasn't had much movement yet; am I correct in saying that? The Sport and Stainless SG models everyone pre-ordered seems to be the least shipped thus far. I have a feeling there's A LOT of demand for that color. I know my Sport SG hasn't moved an inch!

I got a tracking number at 4:18 Eastern, but don't see a reference number.

One curious thing is it shows the shipping label was created on 4/23 (two days from now). Perhaps the mechanism they worked out with UPS to avoid early deliveries?

By the way, the reference numbers were
1) My phone number with no dashes or leading "1"
2) A second ten digit number I don't recognize at all (not order number for example)

yes it is phone number without any spaces or dashes. there is also a secondary 10 digit reference number which does not correspond to the order number or anything else. i wonder what it is

Ordered a space grey with black sport band here, probably 20 minutes or so after the web site went live with them -- and no sign of a card being charged or order status change here.

Pretty sure I picked the 2 combinations that are in shortest supply. Go figure.

My status hasn't even changed, yet others are already getting tracking numbers? Wonderful... And I preordered at 12:02. 38mm Space Gray.

I got a tracking # but cannot get anything to work in the reference field for you. I tired phone #, email, and order number. Just wait for UPS to give you a tracking number

Just as an FYI while the Ref number is my phone number the ship date is 4/23 so track by ref on UPS won't work.

Not a big deal but I notice some actually have shipping from info on their tracking. Mine doesn't have that and the only way I can tell it's from Apple is it's the only thing I have coming from UPS.

I have a regular Stainless Link on order as of 3:03AM EST (the second the site came up for me) and it was IMMEDIATELY 4-6 week wait. Honestly (and I realize its just a watch) I'm QUITE pissed about that. Apple should have let people know ahead of time that certain (read MOST) models were ALREADY WAY out of the 4/24 window the second they became available. Why you ask? So people like me could have slept in till morning and STILL had the same window for delivery.

Agree, but if you waited till morning you would probably have a June shipping date like me.

It will work you just have to manually change the ship date from 4/21 to 4/23 (do not use drop down) and it works. Worked for me and another.
