UPS Tracking Numbers Start Trickling Out to Apple Watch Customers

This right here! I am in the 12:03 order group with the April 24 - May 8 shipping range. My order changed to preparing for shipment yesterday morning and they took the money from my bank yesterday too (I used Apple Pay). I have not received one email update or text message from Apple or UPS, but after logging into my existing UPS My Choice account I do indeed have a tracking number and a Friday delivery (Next Day Air Saver).

As you can see from my post count, I never post (long time lurker) but wanted to just give some other people out there hope.
 
I'm in the UK and ordered the SG 42 sports. My bank balance indicated the money had been taken at around 6pm but the Apple Status only changed to preparing to ship this morning at about 9:30. My order confirmation email was received at 08:04 if that's any indication to anyone. Hang in there those that haven't had this yet. I'm so glad the compulsion to check accounts has lifted this morning. Normal adult behaviour can resume.
 
Yep my London, UK 42 SG switched to "Preparing for Dispatch" overnight - Hopefully it'll arrive on Friday :D

[Edit] I didn't receive an update email - I had to check the apple store order page to find out
 
Ordered Apple watch SS Milanese with expected delivery of May 13-27. Created UPS my choice account and I have a delivery for 4/24 by end of day. Still haven't been charged and order stil processing. I think all first day pre-orders will ship! Keep the faith!

You need to register at UPS My Choice to see your tracking number, Apple has not updated their order status yet.

My UPS tracking number is already in the system!!!!

Unfortunately, I'm having it shipped to my office which is a "commercial address" and therefore, I can't add it to my UPS My Choice account to track it! :mad::mad::mad:

Mine also still says "Processing" with a 4/24-5/8 ship date to New York. Losing hope... :(:(:(

I'm in a similar boat, but mine is 5/13-5/27. Just called UPS with a story that I'm thinking of closing my office early on Friday but didn't want to do that if there's a package scheduled to arrive from overseas. The customer service rep was very helpful but ultimately couldn't do anything for me because it's shipping to a business.

Again, I feel like a lunatic. No emoji required.

Where do you go once you're logged into My Choice? I've been registered for over a year, but I'm not seeing any delivers from Apple once logged in.
 
I've got my tracking # from UPS My Choice with a delivery on Friday. Can't wait! Went cheap for first gen and got the 42mm Sport White Band. I ordered at 2:03 central time.

Stainless steel 42 with black sport. No change to order status; no credit card charge. Confirmed at 3:02am. Grrr. Wonder if it's because put in separate order for Milanese band that says delivery from 4/29-5/12

I did the same thing but can look up my order on the UPS website anyways. Make sure you search by reference here, use your phone number that is on your apple account, and type 4/23 in for the date (do not try to select it, that doesn't work). You don't need UPS MyChoice...
 
Different procedures for different countries?

While it is being widely reported that customers are beginning to see their credit cards being charged for their Apple Watch order, preparatory to shipment, here in Shanghai my credit card was roundly and soundly charged for my purchase at the very instant I placed my order, in the first hour that it went on sale. Can anyone throw any light on why Apple would employ a different billing procedure in China? - and what, if any, impact that might have in expediting my order?
 
I don't get it. My order status has been "Preparing for Shipment" for over 38 hours now. Has anybody else seen this with their order?

Sometimes it says that up until the time you actually get your Apple product. It's better than "Processing".
 
My order of the 42mm Space Gray Sport Watch just turned to "preparing for shipment".

Greetings from Germany - ordered and confirmed on Launch at :02.

I'm not sure that is not normal... since the rest of the industry is not like that. regardless of quality...

Yes .. Apple makes great stuff. but i'm not about to leap of a ledge because i value Apple...

Hey, wondering what time you ordered 42 SG sport? Mine hasn't changed yet and was ordered at 8.02am!
 
Ordered 42mm Space Gray Sport and received confirmation at 3:03am EST. Still processing.

Really hope it gets here Friday! :)

I got an order confirmation 1203 AM Friday Morning. Still "Processing Items" for the 42 Sport Silver and the credit card hasn't been charged...
 
It looks like there are several people from New England that haven't received a status change or charges to their credit/debit accounts.

I'm on the same boat. I ordered a SG 38mm Sport model at 3:04am (Mass) and haven't received a single update since then and have not had my card charged yet via Apple Pay. I actually went to Whole Foods to test my Apple Pay on my phone to make sure it was working and it was.

I do recall when I got my 6 Plus that I didn't get any updates until the day before I received the item. So there is still hope for me, even though I got that damn 4/24-5/8 giant 2-week window :rolleyes:

Man, I have not been this giddy about a gadget in awhile.

Perhaps the shipments are on their way to their New England distribution center and have not arrived yet but are expected to by today or tomorrow.
