From what I gather, we are all on same flight from China. They landed in Alaska at ~6:00pm EST and have now taken off again for KY and getting in around 1:30am.

There they will rest until Thursday night/Friday morning when they will make their final journey to be delivered to us

Of course I could be wrong but I think all of the 10:39pm departure times are on this NCR628 flight.

The phones are going to sit in KY for a day?

Looking through all the hype on these forums on MacRumors and Reddit, it makes me think of past times that were this exciting. It really only seems to me that the last 2 major launches that compare to this are the launch of the iPhone 4 in 2010, and the 6 in 2014.

So it seems like there's a sort of "super cycle" every 3-4 years of really major, breakthrough changes to the iPhone. This may be sort of "duh" but I thought it was a cool thought.

Anyway, congrats to everyone getting an X! I ordered a 256g in Space Gray that will be arriving 11/3 🙂

It really is an exciting launch that was well overdue. But I really do miss the iPhone 4 and SJ days. Fun times for sure.

I'm guessing we are on the same plane we flew into Anchorage on (National Cargo #628). Scheduled to arrive in Louisville at 1:50 a.m. EDT.

I’m in MD! Exact same departure/arrival scan times for you and me. We must be on the same pallet.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say:

https://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS81/history/20171031/2331Z/PANC/KSDF

is our flight. It was delayed and left the airport at 4:14... giving it the closest to the 4:30 "Scan". If I'm not mistaken, and I could be completely wrong, but if I remember from last year, the "scan" will go out when the transport has left it's current location officially.

I am in Boston Area. Off to bed...we should be landing in KY around 1:50am EST.

Night all.

Does national cargo fly UPS shipments, though?

Seems to be the one we flew in on. And it is flying from Anchorage to Louiville. Could also be UPS77 or UPS81, but I don't see why they would off load the National Cargo that we flew in on and load onto either of those other planes (when the National Cargo was flying on to Louisville). 😕

National Cargo is a completely different company? Why would a UPS shipment be with NC?

Guessing Apple (and UPS) is using all the cargo planes it can get...

I couldn't find anything on the web about a partnership, but obviously I have nothing to say it wouldn't happen either. Either way... our phones are in the USA and on their way on Kentucky no matter what lol.

Yep...

I am super curious how many phones are on the same physical plane...
